Used to have an American Bully. Once she saw the gloves coming out... she rushed to the door to the yard and it was ON! She had the head of a bowlingball so she didn't mind the light sparring. Best times ever!

I do this too ,that's how I play with my dog, I put on some 16 oz gloves and chase him around my garden and he sometimes jumps on me (he's a big ass, dog as big as me) and I throw lite punches at him, great cardio, very fun.

Yeah I don't use my gloves because my dog has a pretty dark past from shelters and is scared of them, but I do the same. I throw entire combinations at him, and he's actually begun timing them and softly biting my hands, slipping in and out after dodging one. It's crazy how even dogs understand the concept of martial arts.
