The 2000 Sugar Bowl was the designated Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game for the United States 1999 NCAA Division I-A football season and was played on January 4, 2000, at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.

I was attending FAMU. Right across the street from FSU during this time. We had no cable and limited internet. So I knew nothing about VT. I was watching this game with my jaw on the floor because I never seen any QB play the position like this before. EVER! Not even Randall Cunningham
