Some possible added interest for tone-chasers - Eric was playing Blackie, with his pickup selector switch in the ‘out-of-phase’ position (2, I think), through a Music Man amp.

The first blues album I bought back in the 60s, was called The Blues Vol.1--a various artists compilation of Chicago blues. It was a perfect introduction in that it had tracks by Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Buddy Guy and Howlin' Wolf. One of the tracks was a version of Worried Life Blues by Chuck Berry and it quickly became one of my favourites. I confess I'm not too familiar with Clapton's version so I shall check it out.
