It's sad that a platform like this will not bother to watch the full content of an interview, understand the subject of discourse, and get a clearer picture of the context of a discussion. Mikel Obi never bragged about anything as you guys have claimed. The interview were all the fuse is coming from happened last year on the Premier League show as a build up to this year's AFCON. That interview was anchored by Julia Stuart and included Mikel Obi, Kolo Toure, and Ian Wright. The interview was centered on African players and their experiences in the EPL, a lot of things were discussed such as how Mikel & Kolo got sign for clubs in the EPL, African players impact in the EPL, the first African to ever play for an EPL club, how because African players such as Mikel, Kolo, Drogba etc. who played in the EPL attracted more Africans to become fans of the EPL etc. it's good that platforms verify information rather than jumping on clickbaits, misguided headlines, and short captions posted by certain individuals whose aim is to generate engagements on social media. Now that you guys have succeeded in insulting, abusing and a little drag Mikel's image and reputation over something that was never a brag or a boostful utterance in anyway rather a discussion aimed at buttressing the point that as they played and he mentioned himself, Drogba, Kolo and others played in the EPL it attracted more Africans to watch the EPL. What will it had taken this platform to watch the full interview and understand the subject matter before coming, tabling a subject out of context and insulting Mikel Obi in this terrible manner. This is quite disheartening to say the least and you guys are Nigerians, I don't think Ivorians in anyway would have done this Kolo Toure in an interview that was not meant to generate this vitriol against Mikel. Why are you doing this? None of you even mentioned the nature of that interview to show that none of you have watched that interview but all I see here is Mikel this Mikel that insulting him severely over nothing. This is bad Nigerians smh you can do better on this platform.
