I did so many Burpees while playing football.. no one could pay me to do burpees... I did burpees from 8yrs old, all the way to college football in Texas... Burpees is what you do when you get in trouble, Miss read a play, cause a turnover, ect.. F@#k Burpees. Am 40 and still train with kettlebells and look great. But I must admit. Besides all the great benefits of burpees,.the constant impact keeps your bone density high. That's extremely important to keep muscles mass and overall health. 🤙🏾💪🏾

@@MarqNashyou can adjust your goal, time and number can work similarly if you focusing on cardiovascular and losing weight, you just had to fix the time and number, like do 30 second burpees and 30 rest for 10 rounds, or do 20 burpees for 10 rounds without set amount of times. if you keep increasing the numbers, like 100 burpees up to 500 and so on. It can build overall fitness and lost weight too, but it kinda dangerous because the goals is to keep pushing the number, because sometimes we didn't know when to stop or to push, that's why you need some trainer to keep you in tracks if you aiming for some crazy level of fitness performance.

You can still hit burpees by using a bench or any elevated surface for your hands. It relieves the stress of full ROM on your lower back and even decreases the difficulty of the pushup portions of the movement. Try it out on a bench or tractor tire and watch your lower back stability and mobility get better over time.

As much as I love to preach burpees and get them done, the “every muscle” thing is a bit overstated. They will always be a staple any any consistent workout routine, but they are still predominantly a pushing movement and therefore are not an effective way of conditioning the posterior chain.
