Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

Seeing those luggage bags on the curb made me want to mention to everyone out there that if you have new or gently used luggage, try to look up and/or contact your local foster programs to see if you can donate them! Often times a foster child has to carry around their few belongings in a literal garbage bag whenever they are placed with a new foster home, and little things like having a proper suitcase to carry their stuff can go a long way to making the transition a bit easier and less dehumanizing, for lack of a better word. It's not something most people consider when looking at luggage bags, so I figured I'd mention it :)

I grew up in children's homes so I thank you for being so kind and considerate I used tote rubbish bags around with my belongings in and it wasn't nice turning up to a new home with one so thank you ✌️🇬🇧😎

Love watching your videos Mike ! , I work in networking , and brings a smile seeing you pick up those servers , racks, CAT 5-6 cable , as a old house restorer , you should grab those ceiling trap door foldable ladders , there is a nice market for those ! Stay safe , God bless you and your familly.

If you want to quiet your brakes, wait until your done for the day, take a hose and wet down the brakes good. Yes they will rust up and that's what you want. First stop in the morning , stop hard. The rust will knock the glaze off the pads, rotors and brakes

Mike, watching you with that double range reminds me of the first house my wife and I bought. It has a double oven that was so nasty my wife decided we would just s new one. So I hauled the double out to the cutb using my dolly. Later that evening one of the neighbors came over asking about it and told him they could have it. So his teenage don wraps his arms around it, picks the thing up and walks across the street to their house with it like it was light as a feather.

Enjoy being up and around again and back to watching diving videos. I hope I'm able to get out and go diving in the next week or two. I was about ready to go crazy while in the ICU and after they transferred me to the heart hospital . I wasn't allowed to have my phone or laptop. I hope to get caught up on all the videos I missed. I love vacuum cleaners. Although seeing a pile of them I'd think they were already attempted repairs. Most of the ones I pick up have a clogged hose, a broken belt, or hair wrapped around the beater brush. Clean them up, make them run and sell them at the flea market for easy money

Suggestion:: you were using the magnet to pick up small steel pieces off the tailgate. To keep small items from falling into the gap between the gate and bed. Take a piece of like 1/8th inch rubber the length of the gap and wide enough to cover the gap plus an inch or two bigger. Then screw one edge to the gate right where the bed liner ends. Not on top of the liner ridges or things will catch on it. Then the other edge should lay over the edge of the liner in the bed. So when you shut the gate the rubber flap will slide in and bend with the gate hinge keeping stuff out of the gap. Have a good day

I got an Oreck vacuum on a curb like those about 15 years ago. It also had a bunch of bags with it, a cloth bag and the refills too. It worked really well pulling up dirt, lint, etc. But the problem with it was that every once in a while it’d blow the bags off and a big cloud of dust would go up into the air. Couldn’t deal with all of that.

That washer was the drive drive style i like for rebuilding. $40 bucks for a bearing and drive shaft kit, 45 minutes of work and $200 profit

That’s where the ratchet straps you always leave behind would come in handy strapping the chairs and table to the top of that pile. I drag a trailer around to certain areas when I ride em as well.

Next up Mike the scavenger pizza parlor LOL. Mike if you did the brakes yourself, sand the sharp edges off the friction material and put silicone grease on the metal back of the pads where they go against the caliper.
