Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. It's soda up here, but a lot of us Yankees grok Texan and Midwestern terminology. It takes years for the fizz to go out of canned carbonated beverage. Beer on the other hand can be spoiled from the factory. Or taste like it!

Australian here: In my part of the country we call it soft drinks, fizzy drink, or just by its name. Unless it's the off brand really cheap stuff that is mostly sugar, then its "lolly water" (we call candy "lollies")

Cashing in on those aluminum motors, Mike! I'm glad you've taken my recommendation about field stripping those lights you found in your last few videos. No need to take garbage plastic and mercury filled bulbs back to your home if you don't have to. Keep on keepin' on. 👍

I grew up calling it pop, I was a military brat and lived all over, so most likely got that from my parents from Indiana. Now that I live in Arizona I call it soda and pop sounds strange to me now. LOL I'm going through ALL the older videos I missed, I can't get enough of MTS. 💙 🧦

I called it pop growing up in the mid west and now call it soda after living in the deep south over 40 years. I agree with your wife though no one knew what I was talking about when I call it pop in the south.

Crestron box is an amplifier for 70v audio applications, typically large numbers of 70 volt ceiling speakers in a building for example, probably worth ebaying if it works! You need a speaker with a 70v transformer to test it properly.

It is hard sometimes to distinguish metal from certain plex pipes and coated pipes. Took me awhile to becoming more observant as to what I’m seeing in a pile. It will come as you progress. Sometimes I had problems sorting metals. Got my magnets and I had help at the scrapyard from a few employees there that are willing to educate new scrappers. And being female I pulled the ultimate… baked a ton of pastry, breads, banana and zucchini breads. Sweet rolls and made a drop off to the recycling staff🤣🤣🤣and it wasn’t even 🎄 Christmas.Now I scrap and take orders for my baked goods😊Double market … I love to bake as much as I scrap.

@16:19 braided steel cable is used for guy wires. Antenna mast guy wires. Just a friendly correction. Not guide wires. :)

Me too I am a Pepsi alcoholic! I have slowed down a lot but I will never stop drinking it. I go so far as to when I see Pepsi man or Pepsi women putting Pepsi on the shelf in ANY store I always shake their hand and tell them Thank You for delivering my Pepsi for me
