Anyone looking to round out their philosophical or political understandings should go read Bernardo Kastrup for a good defence of Metaphysical Idealism. It's a shame Christianity has tainted Idealism for so long but it's time to move on from the religious nonsense and recognize the primacy of consciousness at the same time.

It's funny. I've noticed similarities in these anti-christianity philosophies. These guys try to take the inverted position from Christianity and say thus the opposite must be good. Marx, along with the Russian anarchist Mikhail Bakunin, established the "First International."
