@@Jebediah_Tweed Close. The final katakana for a is in subscript. That means it is a modification of standard Japanese pronunciation that attempts to mimick a non-native sound. The closest transliteration would be "Purupwa" but the "pwa" sound doesn't exist in Japanese, making it difficult for her to say it. The tendency is to pronounce the final u in "PURUPUa" to produce "pwa" but there can be some variability on how much stress is placed on the "u".

I don't see anything wrong tbh. It wrote プルプァ and you call it Purupua, it's accurate. And furthermore, Miko said it more accurate as Purupwa, because if you want to call it as straight as Purupua it should be プルプア (with big "a"). As it have a small "a" プルプァ so it's very accurate to call it Purupwa.

Her r/l pronunciation is very unnatural and childish. I hear her like "puwupua buwokku" or "puupaa bwoku" in many instances. (My native language is Korean, it definitely has some differences in phonetics with Japanese, but I think it is not affecting so much in this case)
