@@flaria185 i mean, Japan has a huge rock scene, rap scene, metal scene, they even have musical genres that are a blend of traditional Japanese music with modern sensibilities(the closest most people in the US would equate it to is country). There is also a gigantic electronic scene, both underground and mainstream in Japan. And thats not even touching non-Japanese music. A lot of older US rock bands have huge followings in Japan(even among the younger generations), kpop and Korean rap have decent footholds, and then there is contemporary music from the US, which usually has a sizeable(if modest) following in Japan.

So much yes!! After what happened with Act-Age, honestly the only manga I read from Jump are Chainsaw man and One Piece.

chainsaw man is godlike. if you like that kind of stuff i recommend giving series like jujutsu kaisen and kaiju no 8 a try
