It’s such a breath of fresh air to hear something from the entertainment industry so IN touch with reality. Yes every job has its bad sides but no they’re not in mines or trenches at the end of the day. They get paid millions to play pretend. And there’s no hate, people just want them to say it instead of pretending like they do the most difficult job for our sake, which is what a lot of them say

proving yourself is a symbol and sign of confidence and says that you are a winner, if the girl leaves him then that means she can be happy without him and that it dose not mater and she will be okay without a man. anyone who tries to tear other girls down or people about proving yourself hates seeing people win and be confident, its not about trauma but you're extremely easily manipulated into thinking it is when its not. proving you can and that you are capable is confidence. people who are incapable and insecure and can't see that because they are insecure and know nothing about confidence

I love that saucy little minx, Mila Kunis! We're the same size, pint sized ;) Many years ago I went to my stylist and held up a pic of Mila on cover of some hot magazine and said "I want this hair!" he replied, "what are we going to call her?" I said, "Dark Angel." And so it began ;)

Technically she's right, she was born in 1983 and Ukraine got it's independence from Russian federation in 1991, so she's a current-day Ukrainian (or Ukrainian-American?) but was born a Russian within the Soviet Union...

@@NemuoAgnella It was not Russian Federation it was the Soviet Union and Ukraine was a part of it- big difference. She's said in recent interviews that she would tell people she was from Russia only because the few times she said Ukraine nobody knew what or where it was.

She never called herself Russian? Her first language was Russian and she still speaks it, but she always said she was Ukrainian. She was born there.

She's always said she's Ukrainian; it's on Graham Norton, Craig Ferguson etc. She's from Chernivtsi and even went back there a few years ago; well before this war. On top of that, she was invited to meet Zelensky as well.

@@siberwolf33 she's never denied it though. I've been a fan for twelve years and she says in virtually every interview that she's Ukrainian. I've never heard her deny it. It isn't her fault that Americans can't find anything on a map that isn't America. She said herself that many Americans simply didn't know until recently where Ukraine is.

It’s so profitable to be Ukrainian now, but she is not. Look the Wikipedia: Kunis comes from a Jewish family and has cited antisemitism in the Soviet Union as one of several reasons for her family's move to the United States.

I wonder if she ponders the irony of taking pride in being Ukrainian after her family left the country in part at least due to anti-semitism. The Ukraine has an awful history of it. During the early days of Barbarossa Jewish villagers were said to seek protection from Wehrmacht units from Ukrainian fascist militias.

Which is part of why for many Jews from the region, seeing Zelenskyy now lauded as Ukraine's courageous leader is deeply meaningful,, similar perhaps to how Barack Obama's election was deeply meaningful for many Black people in the US.
