Hello, thank you for your comment. For me, at age 64, creating art is a lifelong dream that I finally have time for. The program has allowed me to gain confidence and skill that I am so grateful for. Best to you in your adventure.

I have wanted to be an "artist" since I was a child. I just never thought it was a practical dream. Now, with nothing to lose I am going for it! Retirement has many perks. ;)☺

Your video is what I need to help me decide if I want to make the investment and enroll in the program. I’m still searching in trying to find my style. It’s so frustrating and I’m so impatient lol. Thank you and congratulations on your beautiful art.

Hi Cheryl, I am taking the courses and I am in part one. I love what I am learning. Had to take a break because my sister had surgery and I went to take care of her, but now I am back at it. I think the course is reasonable, achievable and fantastic. I love it even when I get frustrated! And I just found you and subscribed to your blog! And btw, good job on the art!

Hello Cheryl, I really appreciate your thought about the lessons in the video. I’m finishing part 1 and feel like the same as you. I had a massive growth in my skills that have been noticed by my family and friends. I am very happy that I decided to join. This journey is being well worth the money and time committed.

Thank you, I got a glimpse on how the program really is. I’m thinking about join in, but worry that I don’t have any talent for it. All the best and have fun!

Hello, thank you for your comment. Talent is a very small part of art success. It is your ability to convey emotion, thoughts, and stories with the art that is more important than talent. You will surprise yourself! Best to you as well.

Thank you so much for this update on the mastery program. I'm thinking about doing it myself , but wanted to see and hear from one who is taking it themselves, and I am like you , my style is not their style. They have beautiful paintings, but different from mine. Please keep posting updates on your journey. Artistically Me by Paulett

Thank you for watching and commenting! The program seems to focus on learning all the techniques in order to allow students to experience different forms of style and process. I am now at the end of Part 2 and there is a lot of encouragement to narrow down our process in order to find our own style and voice. I hope you decide to enroll, best to you regardless!

I am starting week 4, just completed my still life charcoal drawing from life. Excited to try the ala prima still life today. I have only ever done one ala prima still life before, I mostly have done ala prima landscapes outdoors. They seem like magic how fast they can come together.

Hi Cheryl 😊. Ty for your video. I purchased the program in January and will be starting within the next 2 wks. I'm just getting my art studio in order. Got all my supplies. I'm 59 and I'm a nurse. Self taught artist, but it's come to a point where I need further guidance . I'm super excited and nervous to start, as I've been looking for a program like this for a longtime. I've been following you for awhile and can't wait for your next video and progress❤

Hi! Thank you for watching and commenting. My mom was a surgical nurse for 35 years, she is my biggest art fan. I'm self-taught as well, although I had a few formal classes in college. The program is structured in such a way that you can pace yourself according to your schedule. Congrats on your enrollment, I look forward to meeting you in the ArtSocial chat.

Hi Cheryl😊 I am in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and am finishing off week 4 of the Mastery Program🙌😁 I have to agree with you, I am really learning a lot and already can see how these building blocks are stacking up and making sense in my future in art. I am so thankful for Ellie for creating this program. Thanks for the heads up for the charcoal street scape😅 I will prepare myself to continue to work with a positive attitude. Appreciate your blog❤

Hi Cheryl! I really enjoyed watching your video, I'm also in the Mastery Program and started on the second week of January. I think what you said about being critical of the program during the first few weeks was something I agree with. I think many students expect a whole lot from it when the truth is it takes time to be a master. And learning from video is so different from the actual class you take in the school environment of a classroom. Thank you for posting your video I really enjoyed it! You have some beautiful paintings!

I am planning to join the program on March 1st. I had the same feelings when I heard other's criticism of the course. I am taking the course to put some more tools in my creative tool box and to liven up my muse. I am ready to work for it with my mind open. I have really been enjoying your youtube videos. Thank you for sharing your progress.

@@cherylannhunterart2023 Thank you. I am 74 Not looking to make a career. I have been a competitive art quilter (not Your grandmothers quilts) for 23 years traveling the country. It is getting stale and my muse needs a boost. I'm a life long learner so this his sounds like a wonderful way to keep that from my studio.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Hiding behind a "non account" does not give your comment much validity, but if it makes you feel better about yourself, go on with your need to express whatever it is you need to say. It won't change my view or my enthusiasm.
