These musicians are innovators ,creators of a language unspoken before. The is so awesome to see and hear . Miles Davis and all of those musicians on that stage take a bow and thank you for creating an Art that we will never hear again .Due to corporate ownership of the arts . Creativity and talent is what we are hearing and watching and what a pleasure it was . ❤

What an amazing festival. Not only did they have the Miles band, but also Emerson, Lake and Palmer's first big concert with cannons firing, one of the best live performances by Jethro Tull, The Doors, The Who, etc... That RMI electric piano Jarrett got stuck with sounds like crap, but he made good use of it. At least give him a damn Fender Rhodes with a clean amp. Miles' band just kicked ass.

Miles was always in a zone. A trance of concentration. I like the way there is no urgency to anything with him. He had to take off his mouthpiece and clear it out as he slowly walked off to the side.

I thought Keith was pretty ineffectual in the band whilst Chick was still in it. This was partly due to the instrument he was playing, the organ. When Chick left and Kieth had the Fender Rhodes as well then he made his mark, although I always preferred, Chick.

I never much liked the fact that Davis used the head from the song “Directions” as a platform to jam and never gave credit to Joe Zawinul who wrote it. He more or less did the same with “Blue in Green” which was written by Bill Evans. And he definitely did it with the song “Solar,” which was a different title of something created by jazz guitarist Chuck Wayne.
