Only gonna get this game because Phoenix Wright is in it xD sound game play there. Not many people like Phoenix wright as a player, but use him effectively and with good strategy like shown here, he becomes one of the most strongest and deadliest players in the game. Even in investigative and trial mode, Wright is a very effective character with his cross overs being particular effective.

there's honestly nothing better than amazing phoenix wright play, so pretty/hilarious to watch.

This sets up an 'unblockable' situation for Phoenix Wright's opponent while stuck in the corner. Pretty scary stuff! Maya and Nick are a pretty strong duo.

@Max thxs for the breakdown. BTW Lythero had posted some online rank matches on his channel that showcase that same Mya set-ups.

Usually levelling Frank is easy; if someone is wailing on the Maya shield, all you need to do is H > S > M M H > TAC in any direction; most players don't see a TAC coming from a Wright; it's a risky strategy, but what's good is that Maya's shield protects Wright from being blown away if they counter, leaving you available to mix things up when you hit the ground. If all works out, Frank can hit level 3-4 easy with Jam session.

Wow! that was amazing, this makes me wanna pick Phoenix Wright up it also makes me think i can make a team with Thor.

I've played a few sets with Uglywhen on ranked. He is an incredibly impressive player but you failed to mention the craziest thing about him in this video. He has to plink all of those Maya calls for those combos to work which even offline is really difficult to get consistent and he manages to nail it every time even in an online environment. Glad to see him get some recognition.

Ease of use is definitely one factor to consider when thinking tier lists, but you also have to consider what options characters have in their movesets vs other characters movesets. That's where the better/worse comes into play, some characters simply have less options than others making them worse, not saying a player with more skill or practise still couldn't win if the they are a better player or the other person messes up.

This was a really interesting analysis I think. It's nice to see someone using a less obvious team too. I see a few arguments about tiers here, but I tend to think that most of the characters are balanced enough that you could find a good way to use many combinations to good results if you try. People often mix up "No good" with "I don't know how to use them well" it seems... Oh well I guess Phoenix Wright has more luck involved than some others though... Eh, he makes me smile anyway lol

I sometimes use Pheonix Wright, and this is great tech for him. I think its about time they brought in a new iteration of MvC3. It was probably the most hyped game at EVO, and enough time has passed I think. And with this new installment, bring in EDGEWORTH, ASURA, and possibly normal Megaman{so as to complete the mega triad alongside Tron and Zero. For Marvel's side, Juggernaut, The Vision, and Luke Cage. Maybe even Son-Son and Ms. Marvel if theres room.

lol thx lee, and yea that combo was a best case scenario deal where i didn't need to burn any meter to land an objection. If Wright isn't so lucky then spencer can clean up after him, but plinking is still a risk in itself so yeah things rarely go that well xD

Or a crossover attack with an assist that has start up invincibility like Jill for example.

A couple of things to point out, the reason that stun worked was because he switched into Trial mode and used that version of the hold it attack which requires one less hold it over the Investigation mode to stun and immediately switched back into investigation mode to continue to collect evidence, also that maya super hits low and so its near unblockable if timed correctly, especially online

This was cool, you should do this with other characters as well.

I think the highlight for me was 0:12 - 0:23 He resetted into a tick throw after stunning Deadpool with his hold-it combo that was started off a Maya slide and then into TWO GOOD EVIDENCES into OBJECTION to go into Turnabout Mode. I don't think anymore needs to be said.

Spencer assist is the best assist in the game for combo extenders hands down
