Although CFC is performed so good in most platforms, the same can't be said about its Xbox performance due to Xbox' bad economy caused by most of its Gamepass users that didn't buy games sometimes (and also the fact that Xbox' new system for Xbox One and Series X/S no longer support MT Framework doesn't help for Capcom's supposedly other upcoming game ports either)

You sure? Nowadays these compilations/collections are half-arsed emulators with low effort and only effort put into the widescreen borders. That they are so bad that they suffer from sprite lag in this day and age. Not that I'm a negative Nancy - I love me some MVC2, and I hope it's a good one, but these collections can be hit or miss.

There are 2 actually: Super Puzzle Fighter and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Minimix. First is a puzzle game and 2 is and actual fighting came with a lot of reference and fanservice (not the sexual kind).

Super Puzzle Fighter 2 is one of the most underrated arcade games ever. It’s so much fun and stressful haha. Highly recommend

Capcom should remake the SF30th collection with Modern Controls as an option and one button supers, it feels so weird to have all these cool features and accessibility options in Fighting Collection and then to not have them in SF30th

@@Mingodoughin my experience emulation is always a less convenient way to play the games than a good collection like this. Especially with the extras. You always have to do so much tweaking for a decent experience compared to just having the game, putting in the physical media and just starting it knowing how solid it will be every time.

Blame digital eclipse, they’re a mixed bag. Glad capcom started doing the collection in house. Mega man collections up until zero have had noticeable input lag, but now since they have the source code/ reverse engineer/ just use better emulation, they play much better

That came out even before Beat 'Em Up Bundle. Wait for 40th Anniversary Collection and you'll probably have all the Alphas online (maybe they'll throw SF4 in no that they're mixing 2D and 3D games in these sets and maybe SF the movie).

The Zero collection were all source code ports. No part of those were emulated which is why they came out that way. It was the same with Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. And yeah, while I know it’s not going to happen, it would be nice to see a CFC styled re-release of SF30th.😊

Agreed. He would’ve been a perfect fit in the roster with how these games play. Honestly think this collection opens the door if ever so slightly for a MVC4, we could definitely see him show up if he was considered once before. Don’t want to give any sort of false hope but who knows, if this sells well, and there’s no way it won’t, it blew up since it was announced, then it’s a possibility.

Realistically, I think a better option would be to break up the SF series into constituents (SF2, Alpha, SF3) for collections and do each one justice rather than having a giant collection. My main issue with the collections thus far is that they are strictly arcade. And in the case of Alpha especially, the most feature complete version isn't the arcade version, and even the SFZ3 Upper version is still lacking compared to, say, the Saturn version. The PSP version has the most characters and the most features, a number of which (Reverse Dramatic Battle!) aren't in any arcade version. Those ports deserve respect, but the arcade collections, good as they are, ignore them entirely. So in that regard, breaking up SF into sub-series allows Capcom to throw in notable home ports. A SF2 collection, for example, should include the SNES version of WW, a.k.a the single best-selling SF SKU of all time. Even if you have to limit online play to the arcade versions, I think this is the way to go for future SF collections.

@@ShinUltima I like that idea but don’t think it’s realistic because each collection probably won’t sell enough since casual audience won’t understand or care about the different versions of each constituent. Maybe if Capcom will price it differently it could work.

Bruh, AvP could even show up on this. They could take the pre-order numbers for the collection to some Disney higher-ups and be like: "See this?". At this point, it's easier to stick it into this MvC set than getting Cadillacs (I don't even know who owns it).

I would also really like a 3D collection. Plasma sword, star gladiator, rival schools, project Justice, tech romancer, maybe the Street Fighter EX games, maybe the power Stone games, and maybe maybe even the release of what they had done of Capcom fighting All Stars. Also I super agree with you about alpha 3 Max, it's about time we had a good way to play that on something that wasn't a handheld system

It works well, and if you have an ethernet adapter for switch it works even better. Wifi always makes problems but I never had any matches I would consider terrible.

I have the switch version, the online was okay. About what you would expect. It has input lag but just about the same as all the other consoles (if someone wants to correct me with a hard numbers they certainly can do so). I'm still going to buy it just cuz my PC is a toaster

I mean, you say that as if it would be impossible for SnK to just cooperate with Capcom to include SvC chaos. It's not the most popular game, so it's unlikely they'd want to make a re-release of just it. It wouldn't be a complete collection without the 3 games, and making a CvS collection would require the two companies to talk in the first place. (Capcom might have made the games but they still include SnK owned characters). We're in a world where Terry is coming to Street Fighter.

The USA only got Capcom vs SNK original version Dreamcast while Japan got the Pro version released… we only got Pro version on PS1 which couldn’t handle game well… Pro version added Dan and Joe plus extra moves for other fighters
