As an ADC Main, you *better* know the ins-and-outs of every Support. Playing with Leona is a WHOLE lot different than playing with Pyke, despite them both being Engage Champions. Playing into your Support's theme is legitimately the only way to play the game. If that isn't the case, you literally just lose since they can't do their jobs.

If I am right his designer is actually a new member to Riot. Milio is his first champ and I love him. I hope he can keep putting out quality champs.

My biggest issue is that he will probably be awful in solo queue and amazing in proplay, because the one thing he's bad at dealing with is assassins. His r and e dont have enough burst heal/shielding to protect from a fed zed combo, and assassins are everywhere in solo queue. However, in pro play, they're less common, because early game kills are harder to come by. This means he's going to get hit with nerf after nerf until he's unplayable in solo queue

Very refreshing to see a simple champion that is not overloaded. I am curious to see how he fares in Pro Play

Honestly, his Ult is MUCH appreciated in this game We need more anti solid anti CC options that arent tied to items locked to a specific class, also the class that arguably needs tenacity the least

Milio is I believe one of the few champs lately designed around a character idea instead of a funny gimmick to create a champ around. That why I feel he's one of the better designed champs lately

Ngl I like Milio for his niche enchanter playstyle. As someone who mostly plays enchanters, I always thought that enchanters should be niche in their playstyles. Lulu being a middle finger to those who dive, renata being renata, soraka being a heal not but limited by her own health, and now Milio being an ardent censor champion. No supports should fill every role, and personally I like how they are designing new supports to each have their own uses, making the meta pool diverse unlike the previous metas

I think Milio will be a good champion for the game, I can't see anything outrageous about his kit. The fact that his ulti doesn't cleanse self-cc makes him more punisheable IMO. We'll see. EDIT: Apparently he can clease some cc, but I meant things like stuns, taunts, these kinds of hard CC

I think Breath of Life is largely balanced by being tied to Milio's position, meaning he has to put himself in danger to get max value from it

He has some cool stuff but I do wish there was more interaction with his fire buddies. Something like his Q and W's fireballs actually being interactible where his Q leaves behind a fireball for a while and hitting fireballs with his Q would cause it to grow in size and do more damage. His E could have been another way to interact with them rather than the generic shield we got.

I fell in love with Milio since I played him for the first time. Such a fun to play champion.

janna specializes in peel, lulu specializes in buffing a hypercarry, sona specialises in teamwide utility and lategame scaling (and is probably the most generic), nami specializes in damage and laning phase, yuumi stole lulus thing, seraphine isn't an enchanter. The matchups janna counters are sonas worst and wise wersa, they have very distinct identities

I had my opinions about him, specially with the extra attack range thing, but after knowing the huge cooldown on all of his abilities, I think he's actually pretty balanced. Riot actually did something right for once.

And also seraphine is the only champion on the list you listed that can do dmg liandrys so I find your opinion on the idea that they are all “interchangeable” to be rather fualty, (no offense meant, also love your channel)

The fuemigo's gimmick could have been improved by the passive being when abilities affect allies, a fuemigo latches onto them and then launches at whoever they attack, dealing the damage, instead of just being flame damage

People often forget Rakan is a male enchanter. He was the first one. He's played more tanky due to how his kit works and how enchanter items leave him too squishy for what he has to do BUT, HE WAS designed with the idea of a male enchanter in mind.

The only part of his kit I'm honestly somewhat apprehensive about is the interactions Cozy Campfire could have.

I'm on the same page about the fuemigos being a bit disappointing that they weren't more actually a part of the kit and mostly just thematic. Though to me Cozy Campfire is the only ability that feels like a summoner/familiar type thing, not the Q.

As some one who looks at champ design from a encounter design perspective Milio looks awesome every encounter with him has clear pros and cons not to mention he is not an jack of all champ. He will really add somthing new and refreshing to the game.

I came here to hear Vars's thoughts on a champion and contemplate returning to League for a little while, but ended up just appreciating his voice and attitude towards new and old designs. I think that's enough League for me now :D

I just tried this guy out, and after like 8 games I can say I love him. I like enchanter supports, but this guy feels so fucking weird! It feels like you're just skipping around not doing anything but the Q is surprisingly disruptive, the W dmg is fucking crazy, never mind the healing and range extension, and the shield on the E is significant. His ult is hard to find a good use for beyond just healing... but I'm just sauntering around the rift racking up assists and rarely ever dying. His base speed is quite high, he kind of likes to stand at the back anyway and you can extend your range slightly with the W. His laning phase kind of sucks though cos you do better with more teammates around you. So the Q doesnt do much in lane, and the rest of your kit relies on your ADC being brave. The only thing really going for you in laning phase is high base speed and long attack range so you can harass and farm your supp gold. Hope they make an annoying little leprechaun skin for him.

The added range could break pro play, but I think the champion will be really fun to play as and against in solo queue honestly. I could be terribly wrong though.

The tenacity definitively needs to be removed from the ult. Giving everyone an almost olaf ult doesnt feel very balanced.

Milio is pretty fun but also not easy to play from my experience. Poke is awesome, sustain in coordinated 2v2 or Teamfights feels insanely strong. But you have to be suuuuper careful with your positioning. You wont get away if anything chases you. Feels somewhat unique and i really like that.

I'm personally not a fan of counterpick champions. I dislike that there are certain champions I just can't pick 50-60% of the time because they're made to counter something specific. Hurts that I love lissandra to death, but she's made to counter melee midlaners, so I'm actively hurting my chances picking her the 80% of the time that it's happening. Although, I don't think Milio will have that problem nearly as much because CC is generally pretty ubiquitous.

Milio is the anti Nilah not for mechanical reasons but because his simplicity becomes a benefit. Milio and Renata Glasc for me are pure air from among the last champions they released, they are innovators in the rooster (A wholesome fire support boy with Latin details and the Lady with visibly age being the archetypal business suit guy), their kits are strong but not in the style that the league must adapt to them, but rather that they fulfill a role so well and are so limited that they do not feel unfair. Renata, for example, despite the fact that she was a strong support from the outset, hardly received any changes and almost no one in the community was alarmed by her presence. PS: What are your opinions on Ashe Supp? It would be a good topic for a video.

Here's a neat rework of warm hugs Million selecte a target champion instantly moving to their location, providing them a sheild and attaching himself to them. As long as Milio is attached to an ally he becomes uninteractable until he decides to unattach.

Attack range isn’t a very good stat but keep in mind that soothing flames will also proc his passive bonus damage which should help his add burst people down

Honestly I love everything about him except that increase attack range it's cool and unique and is definitely better on some champs then others but I have this itch in the back of my mind that says it might be more stronger then given credit for though I could be wrong

The camp fire should make users temporarily invulnerable to slowing effects. Since slows are generally ice effects the fire should combat that.

also. his kit isnt only simple for his teammates, its simple for his enemies to understand. Like quickly explain how you are meant to play against every aphelios gun, and whether at any given moment its okay to stand next to your teammates based on his gun ult combo Now you have Milio, who while im sure might feel annoying to go against, its always clear what he is doing, and that if you want to catch his team in some aoe cc (amumu ult) you need to catch him too

my idea for his E would be shield that takes about 0.5sec to charge and then ally would recieve a shield and the fuemingo protecting the ally would burst (insert cute sfx) and deal damage or slowed enemies when the shield breaks

I've now played with and against a milio 2 games each. I actually really like milio! He has his game changing moments with R but its not OP. Honestly nothing about him seems OP. Good, yes but not OP or overly frustrating! Good champ RIOT! (JG main btw)
