I may be a bit older, slower and rounder but I am still a Soldier. I still stand ready to engage the enemies of freedom in combat. I still honor my Oath. Beware the Soldier with grey in his beard. He is wise and cunning. He knows the cost of freedom and knows it is worth dying for.

My dad Served in the army. He had a small laptop he would call and email me and my mom on. One day I sent him this video link. one day his patrol was walking around and he stepped on a landmine... And he was pulled out of the army to be in a Hospital. Me and my mom waited in the Hospital near the room he was being worked on in. And over the sound of the beeps of the Heart monitor I heard my dad sing. "Devil Devil at my door? don't come knock'n here no more." And when I heard that I started to cry. He is out of the Hospital with half of his legs being made of metal. And every time I hear this song being to remember what was happening in the Hospital.

I may never know your demons or your devil's but thank you for your service my dad has ptsd and is a combat vet 82nd and 101st airborne I want to enlist and is currently struggling with depression...it gets hard but I keep my head high because I think if I see these strong men and women fighting for their country and ask for very little back I kinda use that as a inspiration..thx

Remember the Oath you swore to uphold and sign your signature and no matter actively deployed or downrange and a older Warrior who still keeps his EDC , scans his sectors and always game on with Situational Awareness. We protect our families and always remember that one brother who trained him yet paid the ultimate price for people stateside who never even knew he paid that price to let them have their freedom.

I’m 15 currently and I’ll be joining the Royal Australian Regiments or hopefully the Commando Regiments that we have down here in Australia but I’ll be moving to the U.S and joining the U.S Army Rangers or maybe if I’m lucky Delta force

Just got out of the army. I didn’t like it but I miss those guys so much. Airborne infantry all the way. I would love to go back to my guys but they all left the unit.
