I've seen parallels to the last days of the Wehrmacht for months now. In early 1945, many Wehrmacht units fired at the Americans only until their ammo ran out. Thank you, Dima!!! To be fair, to the end, I have to ask where this idea came from and who said anything about a Ukrainian attack in Kharkov or Zaporojye?? Why am I asking?? Because my logic tells me that something is wrong here. Let's remember what happened with the other attempt of this kind, from the summer of last year .. Approximately 166 thousand ukronassi left the chat in the months of the Ukrainian counter success. And those troops in general, were among the best and, in particular, very well equipped technically. And now, the Ukrainians want to attack in two directions, with soldiers who were taken a month ago from the streets of the localities and exposed, in the meantime, to a psychological training with TOS, drones and especially UFAB's. What motivation will have these soldiers to fight ??? Bringing Ukraine into the EU is simply a way of socializing the terrible financial situation in Ukraine all over Europe.

European individuals, even old people and babies, owe around $70,000 each, to be paid from their taxes and the debt grows every minute (see world debt clock). Russians, like sound central americans, owe $1,000 each and their resources cover that in a snap. Doesn't ukraine see how it is being USED? Bedazzled by EU false prosperity and glamour infrastructure?

I don't think the brigades described still exist, in two years they have all suffered enormous losses without distinction, I would define the aforementioned as platoons, at most a hundred men, with many citizens joining them without any specialized notion of field warfare.

An especially excellent overview even by Dima's high standards. A few thoughts in view of the fact that it is clear to everyone that the USA is commanding the Kiev bunker high command and the impostor 'president' who effectively tore up the constitution of the Rep of Ukraine (1992ff) by breaking fail-safe clauses:- 1) there are dry forests running from low to high ground north west of Tykne and again all around Bochkove. No matter what the direction of the wind, these could be set ablaze economically with incendiaries and fuel bombs so that they burn and smoulder for weeks, thus blunting the attempted offensive in Kharkiv oblast with least casualties including fauna; 2) the second attempted offensive (to please the USA) in the Tokmak direction (again) could have casualties reduced by substantial bombing of all routes used last time followed by timed and untimed mines being being laid on a large scale, inclusive of leaflet dropping. Even the most professional of soldiers would reason that the defense of Ukraine is for the people and not an illegal regime coerced by a distant state, no matter how important Washington thinks it is. New Ukraine will need its army expertise for rebuilding and stabilizing new administrations and falsely boosting numbers of men, women and boys in uniform (also blindfolded in transit) is too dishonorable for proper soldiers and their proper commanders to associate with. It is not too late for a cross section of AFU representatives to join with Rada deputies elected in 2019 (some subsequently dismissed by Zelenskyy) to commence a cease fire and emergency talks away from Kiev and possibly in Dnipro city, which is not on the Putin fraternal oblast list. It also happens to be on the artery of the Dnieper river and small enough to easily protect. As of now, it must be made clear to abusers of the skies flying without transponders in Black Sea aviation lanes that they are legitimate targets to countries in a position to disable them without warning. If such air assets are manned (e.g. the UK RC-135 of the UK RAF) then political ministers must call them home without delay.

So much speculation re Russian moves, whereas Ukraine has no move to undertake. It is forced to respond to speculations, rumours, and stretch its resources. Living in Dnipro I see the constant movement of men, equipment and provisions, and the constant flow of ambulances in and out of town. I don't think people really understand the level of logistics needed to run this conflict. All this being done with less and less electricity. 12 hours yesterday Dnipro was out of power in rolling outages. Every option for Ukraine is a bad one, Russia is just playing with Ukraine and I reduce its own losses, and achieve its SMO goals of denazification, and demilitarisation. I would not care, except the vast majority of Ukrainian soldiers do not agree with, or want to fight in this war. Ukraine will not undertake a big offensive, it never has done. Zelensky is a coward, he knows he has to talk a big game, and pretend, but he knows the reality is that Ukraine has nothing left in the tank.
