The SBU, together with the border guards, created a telegram channel and began selling departure from Ukraine for the ukhiliants in it. They coordinated all the clients together, appointed a meeting place with buses, which then brought them to the border, where the SBU was in ambush. That's the catch we collected: 470k bucks, stars on shoulder straps and 60 recruits. Who will be sent to the meat grinder

Re weapons systems, their provision, restriction, and denial: the West, and the US in particular, wants Ukraine to survive but not prevail. Russia may be an enemy, but destabilization is undesirable. The restrictions etc can change based on how Ukraine fares.

No one here seems to notice that apart from the folklore of Putin's visit to North Korea there is a very relevant aspect of the treaty of mutual military assistance between North Korea and the Russian Federation: in case of war, Russia must intervene to help its ally. Japan seems to have realized the danger of this treaty, but of course, they are close by. Likewise, in the case of a localized war over the islands disputed by Russia and Japan, North Korea will also be obliged to intervene, I believe, and for that it has a sufficiently capable fleet of small submarines. Another aspect that has not been mentioned is the possibility of Russian and perhaps Chinese naval bases in North Korea, thus neutralizing South Korea's participation in any conflict. And the most feared aspect, more modern Russian technology in North Korea, anti-tank, and particularly anti-aircraft, S400, thus seeing the radar signatures of the most advanced aircraft of the United States and its allies (F35). That is why they have backed off supplying these aircraft to Turkey, and who knows if they will do the same in the vicinity of Korea, which could benefit China in the event of a future conflict.

I did not get far into this dribble; I shut down the audio. I see the juvenile name calling of other sovereign states that fascist America dislikes continue on, all the while Russia, N. Korea and Vietnam go about seeking ways to retain peace around the world and ponder whether the shrinking mentality & power of the Western World can get any more lower than they have sunk already. It is heartening to see the Asian, African, South America and Middle Eastern nations in their mature way calmly, wisely go about the globe, strengthening ties with one another to thwart any attempts by the Head Western snake of imperialism, and its puppets, its vassals, that follow like a string of baby ducks, follow their leader of wars to and then over the precipice that awaits all of them. I said, for many years, since our last greatest president, John F. Kennedy was murdered, that Evil had gotten the lead and a great Darkness had settled upon the land of U.S. that will never come back to any sense of a true, great Republic that Dr. Ben Franklin had given us. By a thin, unraveling thread a few hope, still cling to hope that God will rescue...but a rescue may be not even be in whatever the Almighty has ordained for this nation gone deeply into a dark place. Yet, "God, help us" is the only prayer a believer has. Ninety nine % of the others are not even heard by Him, so many say so.

While this is usually a formality, it is not unheard of that the agrément is denied. Furthermore, the Ukrainian Government website still lists 'Vadym Prystaiko' as the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK (checked today, 21st June 2024). Finally, news reports make reference to the Ukrainian president signing the decree on the 9th May 2024 but, there is no evidence of this on the website of the Ukrainian president and, still yet, General Zaluzhnyi cannot be accredited until the agrément has been received.

I'm writing to object to Francis Dearnley's (Friday) report focusing on Leipzig, in which he writes in a gratuitously tawdry and unflattering (spider webs, empty beer bottles) manner in reference to a group of German leftists. Those adolescent comments added nothing of substance to the story. Dearnley is, unfortunately, prone to such gratuitous and pointless editorializing. In other words, he has a tendency to be excessively rhetorical, striving to generate more heat than light. Thankfully, none of your other staff members has shown this sophomoric tendency.
