The last stand morale mechanic from Kislev gets such insane value in these crazy games. A player has to keep track of a million different things and often won’t notice their guard stance ranged units are firing at the last 5 guys remaining in an enemy squad who are just going to shatter anyways. Perhaps By Our Blood should require some kind of scaling to reach 30 seconds? Having the full 30 seconds guaranteed for every unit, even the cheapest ones, is a bit much.

@@starslayer8390 @MadnessTW At 15:07, he pronounces it correctly: Dru-zh-ina, whereas, before that, he makes the same mistake as every other commentator and calls it Dru-z-ina. Although this is somehow cancelled out by the "coup -de-GRAS" at 13:10 :D

11:20 correction most musket firefights went down at 200 yards were you had a 1 in 4 chance of hitting your target. At 100 yards its 50/50 😅

I think they should give human lords/heroes special weapons to justify their weapon strength, like the Green Knight and Karl Franz's weapons. It wouldn't be hard for Kislev either, just give them some Ice weapons and justify they are given more strength due to enchantments and the nature of the magical ice. Or Axes blessed by Ursen if they don't want the Ice on every weapon.

I agree with you on humans having more weapon strength than Saurus old bloods being dumb. Lot of annoying little things in the game that have to be changed/ignored for gameplay over lore/thematic desires. It’s TW game and unfortunately not a lore/tt simulator. Considering that and how they need to pander to a wider audience, I think CA have done a pretty decent job at still allowing a lot of lore friendly and thematic elements into the game. We can’t win it all though. Case in point mother O start position or yuan Bo taking yin yin start position/theme of fighting lizardmen. From what I’ve asked/seen, most Tw fans don’t care about the lore and don’t want it changed. They prefer variety/ fresh gameplay over lore accuracy and themes. So then we are stuck with things like aranessa not having human pirates, humans hitting as hard as saurus, mother O being in naggarond, yuan bo fighting lizardmen, human lords being equal physically to vampire lords, temple guards losing to most units, slaan not being broken, dwarf slayers being in large numbers/groups, etc. etc. Some are fair, but some are just annoying/remove a lot of thematics/character. Lore friendly is sometimes better than balance(imo).

I get the issue with weapon str. but as a spear fighter that brings only 60kg (132 lbs) to the ring i can assure you that a strike is not only about strength but mainly about technique. And speed. So the Golden Knight just knows to stick 'em where it hurts. Nice to have u back though Indy!

I find it a bit sad that Kislev got an ap halberd unit at tier 0 meanwhile The Empire needs 2 tier 2 units for something barely better

Kislev should need a barracks atleast. Anything recruited without a barracks should be a trash unit (not a bad unit, but an expendable one you use mainly to pad out your numbers till you get something batter)

I dont think you can go for both the elite ranged AND the elite infantry front line. I think you need to compromise, pick 1 of the two elites, and go for regular Chorf warriors, or handgunners/blunderbusses as the other half. That was you can get that little bit of extra mass you need to out sustain your opponent.
