His count towards the balance of power is completely removed (I think for simply routing or terrified units, they lose like 80% of their balance of power weight, but that's just empirical), and I do not know if his troops immediately receive the big "lord fled recently" temporary debuff, without him having to completely evacuate the field, but I know for sure they don't get hit with the lord dead penalty.Basically there are 2 debuffs for each state of the Lord, whether he's fleeing/fled, or dead. For the former, they are both temporary, with difference in severity, and for the latter, there's one temporary and one permanent.

To be more accurate, the LD debuff happens only when lord left the battlefield or die, you don't care if he's routing/shatter, as long as the model is alive, you don't have any debuff. When the Lord is dead or left the battlefield, you got temporary -16 LD which will became permanent -10 later on (can't remember exact timing)

They are an elite unit. An absolute pain for factions without lots of AP to deal with.

Nurgle is extremely underrated in land battles overall. Most people wrote them off and never really dug into the roster. I would play them into any faction except OK, DW and LZM and expect to have a decent opportunity to win. They have 4 match ups where they are almost auto wins.

yeah man, just watched it back and realised that single missed volley on the exalted hero at 8:55 probably lost the game XD

its a nice change of pace, which is typically what I use mods for. feels a lot like vanilla, but buffs some underused units and gets more frequent patches/balancing than the base game. so like Plague Drones for example are bad in vanilla, but got some substantial buffs in this mod that they may never get officially

@@milkandcookiesTW The stack I have under him is mostly the basic form and they still massacred the Druchii in the one battle I tried them in. Shooting backwards while running away at higher range than anything the enemy has seems just a little bit broken. A lot of fun though.

Ι would think that would be North Albion... Too bad they barely get any mention at all in the lore. In a pinch, I reckon Dwimmerdim Vale would do.

this mod plays very similarly to vanilla, because it literally is vanilla with simple alterations to certain abilities and unit stats. really op stuff from the base game gets a bit nerfed, underused and weak stuff gets a bit buffed. Its basically just vanilla if CA didn't take 6 months to patch units or fix battle bugs

strange comment tbh, only units that got buffed here were lions and the eagle (with higher cost), all the other HE units are overall nerfed due to martial prowess change and didnt change any of those nurgle units except to fix the nurgling bug

This balance mod offers a 97% base game experience. That's unlike SFO mod which is probably a 65% base game experience.

this tempest does exactly half the damage of traitor kin, is more expensive and works in smaller effective area. looks great in this game cos he blobbed all his SE in a tiny area for me

They aren’t the weakest faction in the game. Most people just don’t know how to play with them. They are quite good.

They are def not the weakest in the game, they are some of the strongest in land battles like this.

@@murrmen1977 I actually think Bretonnia, Wood Elves and Kislev are at the bottom of land battles right now. I can’t speak to Dom as I don’t play that, but I feel like overall balance in land battles is good. Healing just needs a nerf and it would solve most issues. Then there are still a lot of bugs, but that’s a separate conversation.

the slow follows the unit, but yeah the damage is secondary to the slow, which was very useful in allowing the archer to do their damage

Sadly, the nurgle roster is pretty limited so nurgle is going SE heavy in this matchup. Have to make use of their very few good units (excellent chaff and SE).
