Tee, and Ido, while production was handled by the latter three.The song is described as a hip-hop song that incorporates the usage of traditional Korean instruments such as the geomungo. In terms of musical notation, the song was composed in C major with 90 beats per minute. Lyrically, the song expresses Blackpink's confidence and dual identity as both sweet and deadly. On the track's title, Jennie commented, “Since ‘pink’ and ‘venom’ have contradicting images, we thought they were kind of reminiscent of us… It’s pink venom, a lovely poison, it’s words that most express us.” One of the song's verses features an interpolation of the lyric "One by one, then two by two" from Rihanna's 2005 debut single, "Pon de Replay"

Reasons why you guys give some of the best reaction videos to KPOP music - no exaggerated overly dramatic scenes - when you guys are impressed, it just shows in your faces. Just pure genuine expression - minimal pauses - you don't do a lot of plugging and talk time at the beginning of your videos - coherent and straightforward way of sharing your thoughts and insight. Your comment regarding splicing genres is insightful. Blackpink is helping to pioneer the concept of fusing different genres seamlessly into a single track. On paper this shouldn't work but somehow they do it successfully. No other current group does it so well although many are trying. And as a side note, we get a no-bangs Lisa in the final scene!

Yes, actually as far as I know they used some songs for Pink Venom something called like Sampling. Not just on the rhythm, but also on some lyrics. Which is for me, i really like it. Btw, its good to see yall again w a blackpink reaction!!
