It's sad to see such outdated equipment & primitive unsafe working conditions. Who in their right mind would walk on that floor barefoot, with aluminum shavings all over, & other sharp objects on the floor. The lack of any safety procedures in place is absolutely appalling. More modern equipment can produce 20 ladders in less time it takes to produce one in this video.

give them a workbench and they'll still sit on the floor. ITs what they're comfortable with. "sharp" things on the floor will probably cause you and I pain, but these guys probably have very thick skin.

@@aberba looks like you don’t have knowledge of this world. I used to earn $10 a week sometimes working 14 hours a day and the shoes cost $50. I bought my first shoes paying $2 a week and sometimes didn’t have money to make the payment. Flip flops were the cheapest to buy. I hope you understand now. Sandals cost from $30 to $200

Many years ago, I was on a lightweight aluminum step ladder when it folded. I escaped unharmed. I'm guessing this was the manufacturer.
