Any idea what the insurance was (estimated) for you first year?

​@@YourUnlockedUniI can't remember the exact figure but it was well in excess of over 1000pounds, 1400 is the figure that sticks in my head. What I paid isn't accurate for guessing how much it would cost today. Why don't you have a go making some online insurance quotes to see what you might pay.

I had a 95 Pontiac firebird in the netherlands, i feel you. Got a Seicento and put the change into getting a house. The Fiat is easily more fun to drive.

Omg I own an RX8 and I saw this tiny car yesterday and thought to myself that it would be a perfect economical/winter car that you can put a lot of kilometers on without the need to worry about anything

@@dc-fc7tp look for rust! Especially around the rear axle the wheel housing and the trunk… If the body is fine everything else can be repaired very cheap.

The handbrake switch is probs faulty. If you pull handbrake up, there is a white button under the lever, press it and watch the dash lights. if it stays on, the switch needs replacing

They share a fuse, change it 😁

Thanks for the sage advice as always. Tried the fuse today, and it seems the problem is not the fuse. My Fiat expert who has a Seicento, said it could be a burnt out motor. Any way, the car is still epic 😀

I've only ever put E10 in since the introduction of it, but my fuel tank is brand new - I'd say run an in-line filter, redex your tank out to clean it and keep an eye on the state of your hoses and you'll be fine 😁

I've had Seicento for 15 years. It's an amazing car. If it's driven normally and maintained regularly it will never let you down. It is also important to buy it in good condition. The only thing to pay attention to is the alternator. It's best to change it every 50,000 kilometers and you have nothing to worry about.

I had an SX back in my time of uni and must say the car was reliable overall and only let me know due to poor maintenance on my end. I also passed my practical in it and had a great time owning it. It’s probably not the best looking car but good for a first car. I had no issues with the seat and the pedals being so close to one another is something one gets used to.

@@MillerCorner ok i watch it i got a question if I do wat you dan in this video but keep stock exist manyfold all be fine my version is MPI (sx), model so don't stand out to insurance purposes... did you dyno test it ? ever if got 75 bhp? or fells it better to respond on driving over the stock bottom block?

@@MillerCorner Hi Again! Just a quick update, I know this was a while ago but I've sprayed waxoyl under the rear arches after wire brushing and cleaning them as much as possible! They're all protected now so thank you very much for this video as I would have not even considered this issue without it being brought up ahaha

4x98 - you can fit 4x100 wheels with wobble bolts 😁

I am the same size, my friend has a seicento sporting and I fit in it no problem. Seat is all the way maxed out in the passenger seat and the driver seat is a little better but otherwise no issues.

I do like a Starlet, but one small fwd nugget is enough for now 😉

Truck crash into mine...that sounds serious. I once shot straight straight into an earth wall. Due to the low net weight, there was actually little damage. So things can turn out better with this car.
