IT'S FINALLY HERE those were some amazing archon quests. i absolutely love the twins and navia!! furina is such a gremlin, i have a feeling her story is going to be very interesting... anyways fontaine is just beautiful, i haven't had the time to do a lot of exploration or world quests but i can't wait (and diving is so fun, they nailed it)

I believe that it is canon that everybody speaks a universal language (Teyvat Common) but every region(except Mondstadt maybe?) has its own language too. I have a headcanon that due to the Sakoku Decree and being an island nation in general, most Inazumans can’t speak decent common outside of those who live on Ritou and need to speak common, so every one of them outside of Ritou speaks broken common with a thick Inazuman accent. Outside of Inazuma I’m sure mastery would vary but I would live for Zhongli speaking with a thick Liyuen accent

As someone who can speak French it’s funny to hear some of the pronunciations sometimes being off or seeing random french words ALSO since there is a “baguette” in the game in my humble opinion they have to finish it off by adding someone either named “croissant” or “fromage” to complete the joke otherwise I’m going to riot (calmly)

No region escapes this curse, and for those curious, Liyue included: Big-Footed Dajiao: Dajiao means big-footed, so basically it's just Big-Footed Big-Footed Bro Huang: Written 大黄 in Chinese, which is a super common dog name... Hongdou: red bean Just a few I can think of. Obviously there's also walnut Hu Tao and Guoba which is a dish.

I play with the game's language in french (sorry my lord for I have sinned 🙏) and I loved the puns they made with water in the dialogues. I didn’t realise that train times in France act like airport leaving times, but waiting an hour for a train to arrive is still relatable for everywhere in the UK outside of London

The TER and SNCF reference was hilarious. For those not raised in France, it's our train system, and it's known for it's chronically lateness. Like they NEVER arrive early, and having them arrive in time is a miracle.
