Thirty years ago, on March 7, 1989, Milli Vanilli released their American debut album, Girl You Know It’s True. It became an unexpected blockbuster hit. However, their success story took a turn when news broke that Milli Vanilli had not actually sung on their album. Milli Vanilli's Fab Morvan talks to Yahoo Entertainment's Lyndsey Parker about what happened after the incident. #MilliVanilli #FabMorvan

Not everyone makes big mistakes. These guys made a pretty big one. They don't deserve hate but they can never be taken seriously as artists/musicians. As a person Mr. Morvan seems like a good guy. That's probably what we should focus on.

@@blindthief Aim only focusing on his Arrogance and the pointing finger at the beginnings of this interview. The world hase changed? He was the one who said YES to the deal and therefore he and his ex boyfriend contributed to this scam. The world dint changed, its them who changed it. 👎 Shame on them! 🤢🤮 They made a packt with the Devil and sold their souls! What a great example you are for our children today 👎👎👎👎No hatred here just facts!

I don't give a damn they were lip syncing. I enjoyed the music of Milli Vanilli! Their music was part of my life growing up in the 90s'. Their music was part of my life's soundtrack. They had their own style, clothing, boots, and dancing. Lol! So sorry that Rob died due to suicide. One of my favorite song is........."Girl you know it's true". May God bless you Fab. Well, there is a German film now, called Girl You Know It's True. I was sceptical going in, I was afraid it would be exploitative... Fab and Rob were two young men who were taken advantage of. They were fed up with being frauds and hated it more than everyone and we the audience were unfair to them without knowing the full story. I feel bad for Rob and his loved ones, and deeply saddened his demons took him from this world. I’m glad that Fab is back and showed how great and talented he really is. Fab and. Rob were victims of terrible management who didn’t take care of them and nurture their true talents.

Even you were not the singers your performance was good and you made me happy at that time i was watching you performing. Most people did not see that and forgot that they were entertained by you boys.

It absolutely was a different era back in their prime and most people only know half of what was going in the industry in order for producers to get their desired product out there. These guys were simply put under the bus. There's no other way it would have happened without management being behind it all

I loved Milli Vanilli. Such a sad story. They were actors playing singers. It was set up that way. The industry loves you until they don’t.

He does look better now. He has aged gracefully..... poor Rob. They were handled and mishandled a tragedy. But he has survived ...

Fab looks fabulous as he did 30 years ago, he hasn’t aged one bit. They lip synced but it’s 30 years and unfortunately Rob even lost his life as a result of the humiliation. Isn’t it time for us to move on from that old rubbish! I don’t care if they lip synced their music brings back beautiful fond memories and they both looked damn good!

He is right!!!!! So many "artists" lip sync and use all these voice altering technologies. But it was bad that they did it???? They were amazing entertainment! The dancing the showmanship it was great! It wasnt them singing whatever!

I loved all your music, Specially " Girl you know is true" and many other songs. I think it was so unfair that people just left you hanging. Regardless of the lip singing, I think both of you have a lot of talent and good spirit. I am sure Robert did too and it was very unfortunate that he had to died at a young age. Way to go Fab, thumbs up for being such a strong character and being able to move on in a very positive way. Good Luck to you!!!!
