I live in grand Junction and I’m very impressed with the detail they managed to capture in the town, and nearby areas as well! And yes, they do have a lot of one way streets here, the one you drove on when mentioning that was perfectly modeled. It will be cool to see a snow mod considering it has snowed here a few times over the last couple of weeks! (And Yes Jeff you said Montrose right)

Honestly every year is different. And it’s different wherever you live due to the mountains in the state. East of the Mountains, they tend to get a lot of snow. Here on the west side, we either have years with a lot of snow or barely any! It’s still always cold though!

I took a trip to the million-dollar highway from Durango to Ouray this last summer, not in a truck but in an Audi. I am thoroughly impressed with this detail. I was recognizing that same tunnels, mountain ranges, and even some of the houses on the side. This DLC is incredibly well done and I must try it out myself.

“Driver” is modeled after Pilot & Flying J (same company). “Hearts” is modeled after Love’s. Having been to GJ, they modeled that Pilot perfectly. I hate going to that Pilot IRL. I’m surprised they didn’t include the TA at that exit, or anywhere in the game.

The million dollar road reminds me so much of South Dakota and the black hills. I have a 1996 Chevy truck with true duals turbo tubes out the sides with no cats and the sound bounces out of trees here in Kansas just driving down the road, I can’t imagine going down a road and putting the truck into third or second and not using the breaks and letting the pipes work, that would sound so good with them cracking down the road

Very cool to see you going through Grand Junction since that is my hometown!! That truck stop you come to is the Pilot very spot on recreation of that truck stop. You are correct to the right is the Loves Truck Stop. That mural of the Mountains to the right when you first came into Grand Junction is very accurate the is an RV dealership called Centennial RV . Then yes the one way is very accurate the one you are on is called Pitkin Avenue. The park on the left hand side is known as Bum park where all the transients hang out. The to the North West is the Grand Junction police station. All spot on recreation. Then when you get into Montrose and yes you said it correctly. Yes that is Montrose Regional Airport. Then when you got to Main Street and the statue to the left is a a spot on recreation of the Tribute to the Cowboy. I am a delivery Driver and I have drove a 26' box truck on the Million Dollar Highway or "Red Mountain Pass" to the locals. That very first thing when you come out of Rangly is Douglas Pass with all the switch backs.

"There are many legends about how the highway got its name. Some say it was named for the million-dollar views. Others claim the nickname stuck after would-be road-trippers claimed they wouldn’t drive the highway for a million dollars. But the name actually came from a planning meeting in the 1920s where, while discussing rebuilding the highway between Ouray and Silverton, someone at the meeting remarked that the project would cost a million dollars - an incredible sum for such a short span of road construction at the time. Once construction was complete, the name stuck, and the Million Dollar Highway was born." Source: Travel Awaits
