Yes Bernard should have thanked his parents and ask them to forgive him and said you gave me everything you did so many wonderful things for my life you adopted me and it doesn't matter if you don't give me money just give me a job in the house so that I can work for you but his pride made him a big baby about it and he cried so he should have had this experience of having a job at a fast food restaurants I had it he deserved worst so he could learn a lot better

@@robertcunningham3363 I don’t think that anyone is taking issue with the moral of the tale; it’s just that some are a little disgruntled with the way the channel tries to pass it on as a true story. It could very easily be told in a modern day “Aesop’s fables”, it’s a nice tale, just don’t insult the listener by trying to have them believe that it happened.

This is supposed to be one of those lesson stories based on an ironic twist of the type that O. Henry would write. The Story Arc was reached after the poor family left and the meal was paid for. The story is supposed to reveal who the family was that Bernard mocked then, and that would have been the end of the story. All of the rest is a distracting rambling.
