I've been an armed bodyguard here in Las Vegas for a long time. In 1998 I guarded Bill Gates from Sunday until Thursday. That following Saturday he was hit in the face with a pie in Brussels. I would've taken a pie for him. He took care of me handsomely!

I’ve lived with a millionaire for about 2 months in Tarzana and frequently spent time around a billionaire that my dad worked for. The difference to me is the millionaire was still working on building himself and his businesses and the billionaire was working on making social changes. That’s just from what I was able to see though.

I’ve always thought that people worth around 1 billion live a better life than those with 50+ billion. When you become that rich, your wealth alone makes you a celebrity. A person worth 1 billion on the other hand is ultra rich but can still be unknown to the general public.

I was awarded $1.5mil from a wrongful death lawsuit when I was 28. The whole amount was gone in a few years between drugs, fair weather friends, swindlers and just not understanding how to budget money. If I had it today I would do things very differently.

The part about millionaires is true. A family member of mine is a millionaire and honestly you wouldn't know it to look at her. She doesn't flash the cash, she has a very nice house, but nothing that screams 'millionaire' and she still drives a 14 year old car. Also when I was growing up I didn't get any fancy, expensive and ultimately pointless gifts from her for birthdays and Christmas, just normal thoughtful things. This is why she's still rich, she earnt it, she knows the value of money and keeps herself grounded. Compare that with lottery winners who think their winnings are infinite and you see why most go bankrupt.

It is all dependent on where you live. In addition, net worth doesnt really mean how money you have it means how much you have in assets (stocks, houses, etc.) In the US my family is considered middle to upper class but in a different country we would be the top of society.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you're in the presence of those people, don't they just have an aura of like "yep, that's why you're as successful as you are." I've always thought that. A lot of people like to knock them down but I believe that 99% of the time they don't get where they are by accident.

OCD so you buy a yacht, so you don't have to share a toilet. As a plumber I know that I personally inspect every toilet I install, and cleaning crews do the same. Clean that jon then test er' out.🤔

They're not just stuffing cash under their mattresses. They're buying buildings, running businesses, paying employees, investing in communities. People just don't see it and the media portrays anyone successful as evil - for clicks and profit.

@@NarwahlGaming Yeah, Mikey would be surprised to see how much millionaires and billionaires donate to charity or other things. My family is comfortable, and I've gotten to meet a lot of people who were truly upper class (100M+). They've donated more than my immediate family has earned combined.

The wealth distribution in the world is so unequal. Who needs more than a few million? Who needs more than one house? This is why I don't give to charity. The money is there for everyone but there is also greed.
