The US has high quality water, but that's not the point. The point is the water is always different in places and no matter where your from you might not be used to the things in that water. And I get its a joke, but it's a dumb joke because he wouldn't roll his eyes, it's a legitimate concern.

I live in Italy. Pretty much like half of Americans are here😄. Many of them have houses in the Italian Rivieran coastline with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. At an affordable price too. They say that with the good food, low crime and free medical care there's no bloody way they'd return back to the US😂. Pretty much almost everywhere in Italy is connected by high speed trains with views of stunning sceneries. And yes water from the tap is generally safe to drink. Most of the water is cool and refreshing from the mountains.

Yeah, this is the type of Americans we all like. Thinking they are the greatest and now they come to Europe, checking out how good is "3rd world" Water. Maybe you go home to check out real 3rd world water, 3rd world food quality, 3rd world Infratructure, 3rd world education, 3rd world healthcare...even 3rd world Mc Donalds. More?...3rd world workers rights, last world's gun laws. Then we can talk about water.
@joshferrera
@joshferrera 2 жыл бұрын
water quality is a concern when traveling anywhere. If you're not using an RO system it's worth purchasing water for drinking. 3rd world food quality? America has some of the nicest restaurants in the world. This is probably likely to the US being the world capital of international business. America also has something like 6-10x the roadways of Europe. Education? Most ground breaking research in just about all fields comes from US universities. We have the most educational tourists in the world. 3rd world healthcare? The US has far far more healthcare locations than Europe. America also has the most advanced trauma centers in the world. We also created McDonald's, so... Maybe you should learn what 3rd world means. You'll realize it doesn't make sense the way you're using it. As an American, I would love it if we pulled all resources out of Europe and stopped paying to defend people who dislike us. You forget so quickly why you're not speaking German.
@klauskruger6187
@klauskruger6187 2 жыл бұрын
@@joshferrera 😆 First of all, I would like to retract my claim that the US is a 3rd world country. You are definitely a second world country. What is the difference to a 1st world country? i will explain it to you We talked about water quality. The water that comes out of the tap here is roughly the same as the water you buy in plastic bottles at the supermarket, which is completely overpriced. You just throw the plastic bottles in the trash because you've never heard of environmental awareness. When I talk about the quality of the food, I'm not talking about the over-the-top portions in American restaurants where employees work for a low wage that's illegal in Europe, I'm talking about food that's bought at the supermarket. Also grossly overpriced and full of sugar and chemicals that will make you sick if you eat it. Let's just take bread. What is that? Have you ever been to a German bakery? Do you know German beer? Finances? For Americans, money is the most important thing. That's where most of the billionaires live. But what's in it for you? We have London and Frankfurt but we hate capitalists who drive rents up and pay their workers badly. Just look around and see how much poverty there is in your country. How many vacation days do you have? No? That does not surprise me. Traffic and infrastructure? We have as many roads as we need. Only here they are in a much better condition. Have you ever driven on a German autobahn? With a German Mercedes? But I meant something else. Can you move around your city or from one to another by bus or train? No? Too dangerous? Education? Here in Europe, all education is free, Inclusive university studies. Only the rich can study in America. But the average American is so stupid that it causes us Europeans physical pain. White Americans don't know what language they speak in England and black Americans think Africa is a country. If you get sick in Europe, you go to the doctor. In America you have to go into debt for that. Or you just have to die because the drugs are too expensive. What kind of democracy is it when there are only 2 parties? How is it possible that every psycho can just go to a store to buy a machine gun? What is the case with your nationalism? We had something like that too. But that was when Adolf Hitler was still in power. You invented Mc Donalds? Congratulations. But the Hamburger was invented in Hamburg. I know that. I live there.

It's different yes, but the majority of Europeans are not happy with things here in our countries. Crime rates are rising every year, uncontrolled immigration, economic suffocation, too much taxes, less freedom because of the EU’s central power and loss of sovereignty. The US on the other hand has a great diversity, 50 states, from large cities to small towns where the lifestyle varies greatly. There is something for everyone in the US. I have friends and know several Europeans who live in the US that are very happy with their lives. I think this depends on each person's perspective, the world is different for each of us.

I think he phrased that poorly. He should have said even if the local population can stomach the water doesn't mean you can. I went to India a few years ago. I never got sick per se IE food poisoning but I haf to take immodium every day I was drinking bottled water but I think it was the food, my stomach wasnt as used to the spices and ingredients as the locals. I think its the same with water. If a place has very hard water for example it might not sit well with someone who is accustomed to soft water.

To every zoomer claiming they understand water in different countries, you don't understand at all and you haven't travelled For example, if I a Brit go to Spain somewhere like Alicante, if I drink their tap water I will get serious diarrhoea. There are different microbes as well as differences in how they process the water. You can get used to it, but as a tourist you don't want to test it. Just buy bottled water, it's a lot simpler and not worth getting sick out of your mind on a holiday. Staff in places where this is an issue, especially tourist dense locations, are fully aware of this issue and never have a problem answering questions about where they are and neither about it's customs. It pays to ask questions kids, you'd have learned that if your education wasn't dominantly waving pride flags and pretending to be gay

Wait a second. If the water in my house is safe for me to drink, it's not safe for an American, why?? this one I didn't understand. Is it because they feel superior? Do they think we are backwards in food security? Is it because they are not used to safe water? Will it be the same with wine, beer……or bread?

Holy sh*t, I didn't think it's possible for a person to lack so much brain. IT'S JUST DIFFERENT STUFF IN THE WATER THAT CAN MAKE PEOPLE NOT USED TO IT SICK! JEEEEEEEEZ
