In this video I have a look at the transmission on a Gladstone No1 that is fitted with a late 70,s Triumph TR7 twin cylinder engine. The overall gear ratio needed to be higher to fully utilise the torque of then engine for a relaxed cruising speed of 60 mph. Thank you to all those who have liked and subscribed to my channel, it's amazing to read all the comments that you post.
Official Gladstone Motorcycles merch is available to purchase at www.gladstonemotorcycles.com

Your voice allows for my brain to relax and imagine the build/repair. GOD bless you brother. When I get all four of my chains aligned and get things to stop breaking. I'll attempt to post a video of building my trike. I've been working on forever. It's a Schwinn Stingray OCC fat tire/ Headstrom double drive axle 24" trike. Great job Allen, I have a couple of riding buds that changed their Harley primary sprockets up one or two teeth and they claimed amazing fuel economy with a little stretch in first gear. Well you never cease to amaze me my oldest brother had a 750 triumph you found out that the second version of the 750 had a big bar and the first one had a long stroke so I took the two made one and ended up with a stroker that was just under 900 CC's and he could get it done into the loan 9 seconds in a quarter of a mile it was quite a machine I ride a 1957 Harley Davidson I put newer shovelheads on it and I put the hand shift transmission top on it so I could accommodate a 26 tooth counter sprocket it wasn't any good for a quarter of a mile but I could shift out of second at the end of the quarter mile doing 85 mph it had a beautiful top end
