This park was surprisingly lovely. It is located off McCowan between Hwy 7 and Hwy 407. It's a populated area with restaurants and businesses, but once you get into the park, you would not know the city was so close.
You can certainly hear the 407 traffic on the trails south of the Rouge River, but not so much on the north side. The south side has narrow trails that run right along the river with lots of beautiful views. The north side is wide open with lots of grass, accessible paths, picnic tables, and benches.
There is a TTC bus stop just where the trail goes into the woods off McCowan.
