I used the corded hole hawg while drilling large holes while working as a plumbing apprentice, saved my wrists and fingers from serious damage during kickbacks. almost broke a finger and wrist in my first month using a regular drill to make holes in 2 studs. The clutch control on these drills saves the most important assets to us tradespeople, our hands. Well worth the investment for sure!

That is any insane tool. Super cool !!!!! The technology in the 30 years I have been on the job has changed so much. The new kids in there 20's coming in to the trades have excellent charges to pick from. My Milwaukee corded are older USA made tools, dinosaurs by today's tools,. But still pack a real punch. Great presentation Vince. I got mine as a bare tool and use it with a 12.0. I also got the keyed chuck because there's times I use bits that are not a 7/16 hex. I love it and can't wait to see a TTR with this thing

I got the quick loc chuck on both of my holehogs regular and super. Then I built a keyed chuck on a short 7/16 extension. Did another one for a 1/4 inch bit adapter to a short 7/16 extension. Now I can use any drill bit or accessory I want, including my 5 and 6 foot 1/4 inch wall bits. I bought plastic waffle balls ($4 for 2) to keep the drill bits centered in the wall.

We still have about a dozen Milwaukee tools that are in their original metal boxes. (And several other brands of power tool in their metal boxes.) I hate metal boxes as much as I do the canvas bags. Plastic is king. All the metal boxes are rusted out, have pulling paint, are dented, bent/misaligned, etc.

@@Fee.1 the metal box 4 the Milwaukee Sawzall is pretty beat up so is the saw. However the Box for the sheetrock gun is in pretty decent shape and did sheetrock gun is in excellent condition I had posted is she Rod and Gun with the Box on offer up the four and there was a lot of interest in the Box there was Zero interest in the drill. Everybody wanted to buy the box but not the Drew and I kept telling them is a package deal because really I would like to sell the drill and keep the box. LOL. I would not use the box for storing my tools as it is intended to I would just put it up on the Shelf I might put something in it or something I don't know but probably not but either way I wouldn't be using it as a tool box pretty much more of a Decor item

My plumber buddy has the first gen super hawg with the quick look and he has nothing but problems with it getting jammed and not releasing bits or not getting to the reset position to insert a new bit. Honestly I have several t- handle 18v drills that I have drilled these size holes and even larger using the same style bits, while I agree it is impressive, even my 17 year old R8411503 could do these holes back then with its original nicd batteries, (Which admittedly had me most impressed back then also) and still can even better now with larger capacity lithium ones. (Although this can get in between studs easier to say the least.) I was hoping to see a real test like with a 8" or 12" ground auger.

VINCE. JUSTIN WILSON. MY HEART. Dear god the man was amazing, reality tv? Give me a break, that man turned cooking shows into a vacation and a comedy routine all at once. I had the pleasure to meet him a couple times as a kid. here in New Orleans we’d cross paths with our celebrated chef’s fairly often, otherwise why celebrate them. But Justin Wilson was so fascinating. You learned as much history/socially/etc. and got a few language lessons in every episode and next thing you know he’s like “and if you like cooked meals, I’ve got one waiting right here just so you don’t have to wait, so smash the like button. 😂” You know he’d be on KZfaq if he was around. If you have a business address you don’t mind sharing and want some famous Cafe Du Monde beignet mix or anything from here in New Orleans for you or the missus, say the word. I can’t even express what thinking of Justin and seeing his face just did to me...I lost my mom in April and I was her caretaker through my entire adult life practically, so despite a decade of Parkinson’s I wasn’t at all prepared. I’ve been lucky enough to not know grieving like this before, but I just had a purely happy memory no grief because I’m not used to her being “past tense” only, just joy and of watching Louisiana Cookin’ or Cajun Cookin with my parents (it was as much comedy as cooking). If you made it this far, thanks literally set the tone for my evening by just seeing that photo and ...just wow and thanks, Wild how a random tiny thing can impact someone massively.
