i still own the dewalt xr dcf 899 and my brother has the miwuakee, both 1/2 inch. In our professional opinion, they both do the exact same thing out in the field. we are both boilermakers working in the refinerys. Seriously they both have enough power for any task out there with any 1 5/8 socket. We both have 6.0 batteries and the only difference we noticed was that the milwuakee batterys do drain a little quicker. but other than that they both do the same thing. Is just brand preference.

The dewalt is cheap dogshit, if I was unfortunate enough to own one I would say it was good just like you, but I'm not broke or poor
@johnmorgan8250 Жыл бұрын
Imagine saying that and realizing that dewalt literally cost the same if not more than Milwaukee, I have had both and drop a Milwaukee from a tower about 50ft up and I know this from first hand experience the dewalt is 10 to 1 better quality and better built.

Had the dewalt 1/2” for 3 years. I love it other that the battery cases just like you said. All mine are held together by safety wire. Just bought the Milwaukee. One other thing to note if you ever want to pull the nose cone off the dewalt its just the 4 screws. The Milwaukee you have to take the whole case apart.

Really? Dewalts grip is known to be the best in the industry.
@roseanninciong24975 жыл бұрын
jbravo70 he is being biased. Probably got a free tool from milwaukee. Comparing old dewalt to a new milwaukee 🤦♀️
@zack68924 жыл бұрын
Yup way better ergonomics and even vs the gen 2 Milwaukee it still about the same torque. After using both in the junk yard I would say the gen 2 Milwaukee MAYBE has a 50-100 ftlb advantage but the m18 platform kinda sucks vs DeWalt imo. Unless it's m12 I go DeWalt every time and honestly if DeWalt makes there new 12v stuff a little better I'll probably sell my m12 ratchets because the grips suck.
@zack68924 жыл бұрын
A DeWalt cordless 12v ratchet would be amazing no annoying grip with better led. I don't understand how they messed up the Mac ratchet so badly with DeWalt making them I expected so much more.
@jimcrawford32594 жыл бұрын
Dewalt is like the Walmart of the industry, cheap shit that's just good enough
@livewithnick3 жыл бұрын
jim crawford if that’s true then Milwaukee is like Target. I’ve had a far better experience with Dewalt than Milwaukee.

Why u didn’t drop milkwuakee battery?
@dannysautorepair2 жыл бұрын
I have been using my dewalt over 2 years now and never had the battery fall out so far plus it has lots of power and cost way less than milwaukee. Its pretty much a brand preference.

I want to buy an impact wrench Am still choosing which one will be the best Since you have both brands Which one do you recommend Dewalt or Milwaukee. Also how can the milwaukee have more torque than the dewalt. Milwaukee is 18v and dewalt is 20v
@clutchin70175 жыл бұрын
I have the dewalt, oh man is freaking awesome get the dewalt the battery last longer than the Milwaukee
@lifeisgood51625 жыл бұрын
@@clutchin7017 thanks man I just did on Sunday I got the DeWalt cause it's like $50 less than the milwaukee. I used it already to take some sreews and it works as a new tundra

Milwaukee has the worst batteries of the big three Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee in that order
@802dieselcrew85 жыл бұрын
Guess you've never dropped a DeWalt battery and have the cheap plastic around it crumble. On the second hand I own both so I must like them.
@loucifer3235 жыл бұрын
@@802dieselcrew8 yeah I dropped them both and they both broke that covering doesn't protect it from falls actually it hampers it when you want to slide your battery across the floor to someone, but as far lasting longer Dewalt will double the Milwaukee in running
