Thank you!!!!!! My '06 3500 does this and I went to work cleaning all my battery connections (and swapping positions master to slave while I was at it). It didn't cure the voltage drop when cold. Then I found this and I am happy again. I don't know what "grid" heater is yet so that may be helpful to know. My truck doesn't usually get cold as I live in FL but the issue came up on a trip to Arkansas in December. Thank you!!!!!!

Hey I was doing some research on the Tool Vaults, I am thinking about getting one. I assume you are in VT because of the 802. I live in VT as well. Thanks for doing reviews on these boxes 👍

4 speed trans with high range + low range+ split shift = 16 speeds forward, 8 reverse. Ive had mine buried to the axle. The backhoe can still pull it out, but it makes a mess of he yard.

These are awesome. Ran into a couple of situations on my Kubota tractor hydraulics where these would have been perfect. Better than a crows foot or flat flare nut wrench in hard to reach areas because the drive is centered over the top of the socket.

I’ve got that same box in a 56” version with the large side locker. I’ve had some of the exact same complaints as yours. The work surface is ferrous metal which is nice because magnets can be used which I do for holding paperwork down. It does dent easy though. After a couple dents I’ve learned to baby it a bit more. -A few things I wish it had was the power drawer like some of the newer boxes have. -Also the hutch height is probably one of my biggest complaints. Really wish it was about 3” higher. I’m 5’11” for reference. If your 3” shorter then me it will probably be perfect for you. -I also wish it had built in lights or lights made specifically for the box.

3/4 drive for bridge builders also. Had to run a cornwell truck off the road to get my 1/2 inch drive ratchet. After a matco extendable 3/4 drive and sockets out to Atleast 2.5 inch….. buying a matco ratchet but definitely not the sockets. 1200 for a 29 peice set lol.

What made you pick this over Icon besides the 30" depth? Price point is damn near the same and Icon claims a lifetime warranty as well as opposed to just 5 years warranty with thr tool vault. Can't make up my mind.

Good riddance. I don't know why anyone would want an over priced snap on tool box. Instead of spending 30 grand extra on snap on tools invest the money in snap on stock and you'll be able to buy the whole shop in 20 years.
