Hi, I'm looking for something like this for Makita 18V battery

I could build an Makita one. Same voltage as Milwaukee. Heads up though, as I don't use Makita no way to test after building. Let me know if you are interested!

I am in the UK, and I would love to get one. The only problem is that I absolutely hate the barrel plug. If you could develop a version in which you just plug in an USB-C, that would be amazing. Also what is the limiting factor to get to 60W? The cigarette charger in my Mitsubishi can draw up to 110 W.

Thanks for your support! I'll answer your questions in order: 1: Barrel Plug. I don't like them either. I'm using off the shelf parts, and making a modification inside the main "Charging" area that clips right to the top of the M18 battery. I don't like barrel plugs and would prefer to go direct to USB-C into the charging circuitry, however, there is no off-the-self parts that do this already. If there were, I'd of had no need to make this at all. I can convert the charge circuitry, get rid of the barrel connector on it and put a USB-C Female connection, however, doing this would increase cost of the charger in total. The "parts" to do so would be fairly low cost, around $1 USD, however, the TIME to do this would add up fairly quickly, and in the end, it would look like a hack job as I'd need to cut or melt the casing to make the proper sized hole for a USB-C input. 2: Limiting factor of the charger currently to 40 watt is due to the off-the-shelf charging circuitry. Exceeding 40 watt fries that circuitry. Part of my modification is current limiting, so it wont fry, it will just not charge. Again, off-the-shelf keeps costs down, unless I can find a factory to mass produce these for me. 3: The Real M18 Standard chargers (AC Powered), charge at ~60 watt rate. They however, have a low power factor. Without un-necessarily writing a whole dissertation here or whitepaper, do a google search on "Real VS Apparent Power". Due to the low power factor, a Standard M18 charger draws about 140 Volt Amperes. This is easy to correct for with motors, by adding a properly sized run capacitor. However, more difficult with electronics. Not ideal to modify a standard charger. As such, most 12v sockets, such as the one in your Mitsubishi, which has a limit of 110w, would be over-loaded by using a standard M18 battery charger with say, a power inverter. If these sockets would be higher powered, it would be of no problem. As it stands though, for the majority of vehicles, one would need to pop the hood and connect the inverter directly to the 12v battery. No ideal let alone charging while out and about. Nice to get some battery power back while driving to the next job! Especially if you are like me and out and about away from the grid. Now, Milwaukee does have a 12v standard charger, however, it is costly, large, and poor ratings. Mine can even be charged by some computers. Such as my Dell Laptop, which supports PowerShare, and can output 20v.

So, you know the $30 usb charger that looks almost ecactly like the thing on the left? So for some reason they wont charge my phone when my phone is dead. The phone shows a "0%" and keeps Circling like its charging but never gets anywhere. Why would this be ? And when I replace them , they work for a bit like a month or 2 but then same thing starts to happen. (Im on my 3rd one) Any input you can think of would be greatly Appreciated .

I appreciate what you're trying to do here, but you need to take s step back and look deeper into what you're trying to do. You can ABSOLUTELY achieve 100% charge on a battery over the source voltage, and all of the intermediate devices are going to confuse people trying to do this. Electronics are not easy to understand so please dive into it more before making a click bait title (this popped up into my suggested videos, no idea why)
