Thanks for the insight. I have the Milwaukee power head. I'm was thinking about getting either the broom or the rubber paddle heads for gravel removal on a built up asphalt roof. It looks like the broom is the way to go.

The paddle broom for soft surfaces (grass), the bristle brush for hard surfaces. The rubber paddle works REALLY good on grass. It doesn't pick up dust and dirt like the bristles and picks out rocks/mulch easily. I have the paddle. The downside of the paddle is that it really fights you on asphalt, but it works great on grass or wet surfaces. Upside is they use the same mounting, so if you buy replacement paddles/bristles you can swap them on the unit and only buy one...
