honestly the parents of Newjeans has cast doubt on the claim that parents of minors are just "supporting their kid's dreams" and "know what's best" i read Jeanette Mccurdy's book "i'm glad my mom died" and i believe that the parents of Newjeans are just a tiny drop in an ocean of stage parents in the kpop industry who do not care about their children's well being. As you said, if the cookie controversy wasn't enough to pull their children out of the group or at the very least show a clear disproval and disgust over what MHJ has done, i would expect that this entire mess including those text messages would make them hesitant, but they're going full speed ahead with seemingly no care or thought in the world, Newjeans "fans" with the exception of a few are too busy defending MHJ rather than Newjeans who are the people who NEED their full whole hearted support right now. Aah, finally...it's out. The thing is so many sane people on internet are actually falling for this one. One of my favorite k tubers "choujimi" called her a "greater artist" and belift lab a "lesser artist".(He corrected it afterwards and said he has changed his views and realised that he was too harsh.) But my concern is, people like choujimi are being deluded into these copying and "greater and lesser artist" then the day-to-day k-pop fans who don't have any kind of sense when it comes to their faves to begin with would be manipulated to such an extend. Everybody is so easily influenced by this woman idk how she is doing all this. Everytime I see anybody believing in any of her bullshut I grab my hair in frustration. Like gurl????? It’s a shame for newjeans cause I feel they’re not really mistreated. They debuted with success benefiting from being bts sister group. They’ve interacted with bts members, had brand deals at debut, got a McDonald’s collab, a Coca Cola collab, Danielle collaborated with Disney, iPhone endorsers ect. It's the fact that Bunnies are just so blind to what she's clearly doing! I've never seen such a blinded fandom in my history of being in K-pop. Considering how many serious allegations have come up related to MHJ, there's no doubt that there's something shady going on, whether they like it or not. Considering that NWJNS also has filed a petition (allegedly) in support of the plagiarism accusations, they are being swindled by MHJ to hopefully leave the company with her. MHJ is a clear narcissist and a manipulator, and it seems Bunnies has fallen into her trap. Overall, I hope that MHJ is removed from HYBE because it's highly likely that some employees of ADOR could also be involved, although I'm not confirming that they are. Personally, I will end up boycotting NWJNS, not because of the girls, but more because of the damage their image has caused to so many of my favorite groups right now. I think that tuning in just helps ADOR and MHJ, so I'll tune out until this is resolved. But I honestly can't listen to the music without thinking of those groups and the massive amount of hate they're getting. Had Ador not been associated with Hybe, the no promo for Attention would not have gone viral….they only reason they got popular was because of hybe.. before i checked Attention out i got a notification for a Hybe post but I didn’t acknowledge it cuz it wasn’t one of the groups i stan…. I’ll be honest. I came into this entire drama abit biased since I am not a fan of what HYBE has become. But at this point I can’t deny most of MHJ accusations are pretty baseless. Maybe HYBE did wrong MHJ in some way and she had every right to feel some sort of way. But her ego and manipulative self has definitely blown this entire thing out of proportion. New Jeans need to distance themselves away from her ASAP.

I have no Interest in either party but that ADOR CEO needs serious therapy and so does the NewJeans members and parents for going along with this crazy plan. I would fire Min Hee Jin then I would put NewJeans on a two year hiatus for their involvement. I am so tired of her. Ever since the allegations came out I was like something aint right bout her especially after the press confrence. After that I just felt embarassed for her. ( Yes I also know about her being a weirdo).

I always joked with my friends that i was going to take MHJ side since the beginning of this feud since for me it was a situation of the enemy of my enemy is my friend. But i was still completely caught of guard of seeing everybody (mostly koreans and bunnies) choose her side unironically. I am very good at spotting bullshit, liars and manipulators. And with MHJ press conference, it was so obvious that she was faking it that i was already thinking of ways to defend her bullshit as a joke. And for 2 days, i was busy touching grass outside, thinking to myself that the hybe vs MHJ shit show was already over since everyone saw right through MHJ and took Hybe side. So imagine my surprise when i found that it was the complete opposite. And i am even more surprise and confuse that people are regarding her as a feminist hero. Like at least the korean public mostly took her side because of their hatred of hybe and because they were living their fantasy of rebelling against their boss through her. But the rest of her fans, who are mostly bunnies, that are actually believing her with all their hearts is actually scary to me. Maybe i was less dumb than i thought, but even 10 year old me would have seen through her the moment she started fake crying.

Conspiracy theory ahead: Why do I feel like this is just a distraction for something larger behind the scenes. I get that the noise, fire crackers and misdirection are MHJ's operational tools to get what she wants but I also think that the confidence she performs with, considering she doesn't care about an investigation or even the truth regarding her claims being discovered, she is playing like she isn't going to lose. Could she be backed by a larger player we have not seen yet? Is destabilizing HYBE the main attraction for an even larger investor? BTS's nest egg they worked so hard for. She doesn't want to leave HYBE but will throw them under the bus - for who's benefit? Ador under HYBE under different owners? I could be crazy, as if all of this isn't crazy enough, but hopefully HYBE, lawyers and courts will sort it out appropriately. I am going to be salty. The first Hybe Girl Group was Gfriend. They did not trained them, they only disbanded them but Sowon was the only female standing among the group leaders of Hybe in their first concert and she was next to RM as the leader of maybe the third most successful groups of Hybe: BTS, Seventeen (that were not there) and Gfriend. Gfriend was the first girl group to have its space in Hybe'd museum. They have their own spot promoting the company, the belived in themselves. Gfriemd was the first female face of Hybe, not the other group of SoMu nor this girls of NJ, the first female group of Hybe was Gfriend.

The moment I saw how MHJ was dressed at the press conference, I knew she would sway public opinion. The image of a battered worker/a tired loving mother/ nostalgic clothes (looking like a sixth nj member)/baggy clothes (making her look smaller, a weak women), even cursing (showing genuine passionate emotion) and knowing how all of this relates to Korean culture, history and more. Many kpop fans know kpop but not Korean culture history or the people so they were surprised. There is a kdrama called Agency, which everyone should watch, which is about marketing and how it can manipulate people, industries and society. It’s also really good and fun!

I however disagree towards their action "expressing joy and thankful towards MHJ" in a live broadcast during their winning ceremony. Its on the same day that Hybe lost their court case against MHJ. They seriously jeopardarize their own career. Are they that naive? The thing is they can always thank her behind the scenes. When they do this, they openly showing their side and those ppl against MHJ rushing to accuse NJ of being ungrateful while they are still under Hybe. They already got hate when they submitted petition to court to support MHJ from being dismissed. They just should stop from there. Now they get more hate. If you're idols and dont really understand how corporate fued works, just stay neutral. Just focus on your CB and continue to achieve according to your original plan. Just let the fued stay among those adults. Its to early anyway to celebrate MHJ. Seriously, do you think because MHJ won that one court case Hybe is gonna sit quietly doing nothing? Reconciliation is almost impossible now that MHJ quoted too many idols or too things of the wrong doing that Hybe did in the past. They are planning to eventually dismiss her sooner or later after her contract ended. Honestly NJ's fate is still unclear.

Solely regarding the aspect of njs' parents caring abt their childrens safety more than abt money: parents are already partly aware of the harmful environment they are putting their children in when letting them parttake in training systems etc meaning they are fine with putting them on harsh diets, long training hours, letting them expierience extreme emotional and bodily disstress, pressure through comparison and all sorts of psychological manipulation, literally enforcing child work as well (no matter wether their children actually get to debut). So the likeliness of njs' parents trying to protect their position and fame over their well being is not so far-fetched in general. Hence, this could be why their are trying to make things remain the same as they have been before (trying to keep the girls at hybe) but also see mhj as the person in responsibility of their success and therefore, will stick to her side in any situation. Through her manipulation, also probably personaly befriending the families and acting as if she were a part of them, she has gained sympathy from them, and they might overlook harsh comments abt their children and her dangerous behaviour as it is a common thing in the industry alltogether (body shaming, sexualisation of minors, claiming success to the company/directors). As it could be seen with danielle and hyein directly, their parents put so much work into them becoming famous (danielle appearing in tv shows on multiple occasions, hyein with her former girl group and yt channel etc.), seeing how much money, time and work they put into that, they will not miss a chance to keep it up now and definitely encourage their children being treated like machines. It's in the nature of the pop industry and they must be aware of these damaging realities, even if it's only from what their children tell them personally.

I mean, i understand that hybe might not be a completely innocent company who never do any wrong. But the way people believe really easily for every accusations that this woman threw... It's probably more to do with the fact that public hates big corporations and stories about small fish fighting the big baddies is one easy method to gain sympathy.
