It's not drama so much as people clowning on her for a bad take. The hypocrisy stems more from her calling firefly waifubait while she herself has no problem doing that AND yuribaiting all the female characters in both genshin impact and HSR.

Ok, I really don't get the point of this video, I'm like 22 minutes in, and is just, "that's not a problem, I don't see the problem, I don't get the problem". I know everyone has their opinions, but there is a lot of things being ignored here for no logic reason.

There is a clip of Mina actually loving Firefly. Like REALLY loving her. For her to make a complete 180 on 10 seconds is crazy. Firefly is a great character in the story and has a a sad but crazy background. Reducing her to "waifu" because Calus came out instead of Stelle was just wrong to me. Opinions change, I can agree to that. But saying something about the last 10 seconds when we know that if it was Stelle she would be over the moon to saying for all three patches she was just waifu bait and thats it is just dumb. Don’t really like mina and generally seeing this feels normal ha? Although I kinda feel natural on this I do kinda get that it’s a bit Yuri favoured. so people come out ready waiting for the moment to take someone down just how I feel ha but what do I know I just spectate

U can think of it like this, both u and this friend/acquaintance really like this series/story, the plot, backstory and lores, then suddenly this series got popular and this friend/acquaintance of urs started disliking/hating it for no other reasons than it getting popular and all your friend's opinions of said series b4 are all out of the window and when u ask your friend, "why?", he/she give every excuse under the moon other than being honest of him/her not liking the fact that the series got popular. In this case, the series is the character, Firefly and the popularity boom is the last 10 secs of the Firefly trailer where she smiled at the male mc and the most likely reason she posted that bad n dishonest take was cause it wasnt female mc or her headcanon ship. Also, most sane people (& her fans) are calling her out cause they themselves and mina all agree the plot, backstory and character writing were good and well executed but just because of the last 10s of the trailer, she backpedelled and said it ruined the character which is far from it. And this video does a horrible job of explaining it, and feels more on dunking mina and confusing u.

Ok so the clip people are using to call her a hypocrite. Isn't that from before we know Firefly is Sam? The entire perspective of her character changes at that pont, so that just invalidates the entire argument. Not 100% sure about that but either way this is the pettiest thing I've ever seen. People are just mean and stupid and hatefull.
