As an owner of E2S1 Acheron (4.1k Atk, 100% Crit rate, 240% Crit Dmg in battle) and E2S1 FF (400+% BE and 160 speed outside ultimate, 220 after using ultimate in battle) I need to say that Firefly really does clear bosses faster than Acheron. The thing is, if Your first ult with Acheron isn't strong enough to one shot a boss then You need to wait for her Crimson Flowers to charge back and that can take some time (1-2 turns, could miss a cycle in MoC because of this). While FF after using ultime is just a speed demon, sometimes acting back to back before Your other team members take their turn, each of her skill can do 300-600k (That's 1.2 - 2.4m damage in single cycle) while she breaks enemies and leave them in weakness broken state, HTB + Gallagher + Ruan Mei / Asta are doing their own Super Break damage. So Yeah in conclusion, Firefly, can outperform Acheron in a fight but like You said, not in every scenario.
