I'm glad Aqua played this game. It's always good to see another streamer go through all of it. Game really is a masterpiece despite the occasionally questionable fandom around it.

She was thinking about it after her pacifist run. Though hesitant, she said she wanted to see the whole game. And fight Sans.

She just got past Flowey's part, but she doesn't get where "Akukin" "deleted themselves" (ie the Ebott scene at the start) as Flowey said "I followed in your steps, I tried to delete my existence" in the New Home monologue.

Did she see the post credit scene when Flowey coached the player on how to get true pacifist? If so, I think including it here would have bern a great payout for her trusting him.

Yeah she did. Hmm, interesting idea. I didn't even consider it. That scene feels so out of character for Flowey, it feels to me more like the game hinting at the alternate route rather than him. But now I'm guessing it doesn't even show up if you kill him...

@@Hiandbye95 Its not, since SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD at the end of the pacifist route he's basically used you to gather everyone up so he can take EVERYONE'S souls and fight you again. Also yeah, he won't appear to tell you about the alt route if you kill him here.

Thank you for the translation! I tried this game a few years ago and with a legitimate skill issue (against Undyne), I ended up quitting and watched my cousin play through it instead, so watching others play is always nice.

Is it just me or I'm having a Deja Vu that Aqua played Undertale before, like a few years ago. idk why but i felt like she feel like someone whose already played Undertale.

I know how you feel, I also thought everyone in Hololive and their mother had already played Undertale. But turns out Aqua hadn't. She said: she heard it was a bullet hell game and thought it was gonna be too difficult, which is why she held off on it for so long.

I like how her reasoning is that she’s going to keep an eye on him and kill him if he tries to kill anybody else to get to her. See, my first time playing, I get to that point, my reasoning wasn’t that I was showing mercy. It was that killing him was allowing the easy way out. “I’ll come back…” Yeah, I have no doubt you will, and I’ll whip you again. You’re going to live however long your life is knowing you lost, you won’t win, and you can’t win. And you may threaten it, but you won’t go after anybody to get to me, because that would be truly admitting your failure and inability to beat me and prove you’re better. You’re going to live with that knowledge forever, and when I eventually die, you’ll sink deeper into that despair, knowing that any chance of coming out on top has died with me, that no matter what you do at that point, you’ll never be able to prove you’d ever have been able to succeed. Almost everybody who plays that point just goes with “no, killing is wrong”. At least Aqua and I seem to be on relatively similar wavelengths to some extent.

Nah. That's unrealistic and wouldn't fly in the real world. You either got it or you don't. All that warhead wannabe stuff gets out the window soon as you are forced into reality.
