Mind Over Magic is a simulation game developed by Sparkypants and published by Klei Publishing.
Get it now in Early Access on Steam: klei.gg/mindovermagic Design, construct, and optimize every detail of your ideal magic school! Keep everyone alive and content while preparing students to explore the horrors of the Underschool, a deadly subterranean trial. Study lost arcana, grow exotic plants, brew potions, and raise undead servants. But don’t forget to stop the deadly fog from consuming everything in its path.
For a few weeks we’ll be reading your feedback and discussions on Discord, making fixes, and tweaking anything that needs it. We have tons of ideas for where to go next with the game, but we want to focus on hearing player feedback, needs, and desires before we share what the plans are. You can be certain that Mind Over Magic will be getting tons more amazing art, intriguing systems, and more.

I played a bit during playtest and it looks really great! Even during that short period, the team made a lot of fixes and quality changes. Hope they keep it up and finish with an awesome game :D

@@tanimation7289 I would say that for the most part it's a management game mix with colony builder and a bit of turn base combats.

@@minhnhat-sf5dm I still think the game is quite enjoyable. 😊 While I agree that there are some annoying aspects later in the game, like balancing issues, repetitive events, grinding, and a lack of an end goal, it's still a fun game to play, considering it's still in early access :D I think it's similar to the start of ONI - there wasn't much in it at first, but Klei did an amazing job in developing it into a great game. I hope the same happens with this game, especially since it's Sparkypants' first game if I'm not mistaken.

I played it when it was free during the steam event, to me it's extremely fun! It feels like oxygen not included and RimWorld, except simpler (to me that's a plus, because oni was way too complex for me hahaha)

Ok, I may have spoken too soon. Looks like this has all the pieces to be a great game. Its already very enjoyable. Hope to see more complex and challenging battles and new magic schools to unlock! Tiers 4 and 5 Maybe add magic combos or synergy, status effects like vines with fire cause burns.

If only Klei would announce an add-on for oni like Spaced Out, then I would be soooo happy. It would be interesting to see the community support for this game. I would definitely immediately buy something good.

We've been doing regular free content updates to ONI. Additional DLC's would fragment balance design in the game if we want to keep adding things, so we keep updating the core game and try to limit Spaced Out DLC exclusive content where we can. @@kleient I played this game for free and played quite a lot of hours, and in the end I decided that I couldn’t continue doing this and bought it on Steam with DLS to support the developers, after which I played another 400 hours. You probably chose the right way to support the game. I understand that I’m not the only one, but will there be a slight optimization of the game or a special mode in the settings for medium-sized PCs? I understand that the processes that occur in the game every second are difficult to calculate by computer and it is really impressive that they are implemented in this game. I love this game and play even at 15 fps with x1 speed in late game)

As i am oldschool Dont starve and Oxygen Not Included player, this game looks perfect. If Steam continued with local pricing in Turkey, I would have purchased it immediately and written a review. Unfortunately, I have to wait for a discount now....😢

Not sure quite yet, but we are going to be looking at that closer to launch. It's hard to do regular content updates that change text while supporting multiple languages, but we will be working with Sparkypants on localization down the road. Just curious, what language were you hoping for?
