That ride was the thing that brought my friends and I to the mall; they need to replace with something equally as thrilling

Would be nice if they kept the loops as a piece of history !!

That would have been interesting, indeed.

I live in the US I haven’t even been to Canada and I’m sad for y’all too! Seemed like such a fun ride. I live in New York and our neighbors in NJ has a mall with a theme park almost exactly like this except the lift hill is vertical, and the drop is over 120 degrees.

@@xtremeentertainmenttv9664 Are you talking about the TMNT Shellraiser roller coaster?

the 3 loops are left because they are the most difficult pieces to transport

Very well could be.

nothing a cutting torch cant fix out in the parking lot to make it into smaller pieces (already been done with other track sections). its actually taking them down and removing them from the building that will be the most difficult. they had 2 cranes in there last time taking down what is already gone. for the loops i imagine both cranes will have to grab a single segment at the same time because of how heavy they are. loading them onto a truck and driving them to the scrap yard is the easy part actually. 🤣

@@GoogsMindbentwow you should be on the demolition team. Why was the decision made not to include an expert like yourself?
Sad to see it go, I wish they would relocate it instead of throwing it in a scrap yard which they are most likely doing.

Still very sad to see it go however I still have a tiny bit of hope that some form of new roller coaster will replace it.. Personally if they can afford it I hope it's a launch coaster like the one at American Dream... A short and sweet ride...

I am fairly sure it will not be a roller coaster.

@2:00 FAIRLY GOOD PACE!? 🤣 there moving slower than the Molasses in January! 🤣 that footing you can see in your shot has been removed and as of yesterday still no cranes on site. the loops will be going its just a question of when. your completely right though about them it's going to be more difficult to remove them because of how heavy they are in general and the massive concrete supports.

Thank you for the comment and for watching. You must remember it is a dismantling not a demolition. Dismantling indoors is a painfully slow process.

@@jerridpowley2709 iunno... shouldn't be this long... everything that is already gone only took like a bit more than a month and a half to get down. Wile its not done to the MB itself, there is indeed demolition. it's now taken over a month just to get Galaxy Quest demolished and removed. thats all the debris here getting cleaned up. what ever is taking them now, its not visually obvious. Its been over a week since they finished with Galaxy Quest. still no cranes on site. 🤔 in any case, will be back ether today or tomorrow for another check.
