This Nasi Ayam dish from Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki is famous in Bali and for very good reason - if you are in Bali this is one dish you CANNOT miss. The flavours of the Ayam Betutu, the urap sayur, the stewed egg, the crispy ayam goreng, the sambal matah, the salted fried peanuts all come together in one beautiful symphony in this dish, some flavours so bold, other shades of such delicate taste, that this amazing plate here at Warung Bu Oki totally knocked our socks off. After 4 months of living here in Bali and eating everywhere this totally takes the top prize for being our FAVOURITE Balinese dish so far, and i would even go so far as to say - i can't believe this hasn't yet been awarded a michelin star - it's THAT good!

I just spent 1 month in Bali exploring its culinary scene. I really think so many restaurants in Bali deserve Michelin stars. The dishes are so creatively crafted & tasty, the service is superb, and the ambience is amazing. These are my fave eats so far: Ulekan in Canggu for Indonesian food (their rendang & gado-gado are awesome), Sensorium in Canggu (try their dry ramen), Warong Legong in Gianyar for Balinese food (I really like their Balinese nasi campur and especially their eggless bakwan jagung/ corn fritters), Warung Pak Colt at Saba Beach (their sate ikan/ tuna satay and sate lilit are so tasty), Zest in Ubud for vegan food (super creative & tasty vegan food with an amazing ambience), and Bebek Patmoroso in Kerobokan (they serve fried duck cooked in East Javanese style. My wife says the fried duck is even tastier and more tender than duck confit in France, and at 1/10th of the price, it's a must-try :D. Please be moderate on the sambal. It's super spicy).

omg that is beyond yummy, miss Balinese food although u can get it here in Perth, it’s better in Bali at Bali prices ha ha. I am beyond impressed with Vitaly and his love of spicy Indonesian food. A Russian eating Balinese food like a local, good on him. Great vlog

@@JeanVoronkova do you have grabfood application as well. If you haven't downloaded it, you should. I always compare the two and order the best discount/food/value from either of them. In fact I think the better deal of small orders come grabfood (you can add the specific voucher discount on your own which with experience can give you better overall discount) and gofood typically sometimes gives a huge discount on bigger total amount of order.

OMG... Ayam Betutu is probably one of my favourite food and you have here both the stewed & fried chicken with satay. Yummy. Shame I never knew of this place.. Those days I spent in Bali internet were mostly just basic html pages & no tripadvisor, google maps, food reviews etc. Its all by chance & serendipity that good food were found! So good to see both of you enjoy the food.

Indonesian food is rich in flavor and spices. It's literally different to any other countries that cook food for a medium rare or just putting little bit of spices, but most of Indonesian foods are overcooked but perfectly go on people tongues.

I know this place, it's very famous amongst Indonesian tourist since they provide all non-pork meal. Very delicious, but like you said in your video, no-joke hot spicy 🥵
