A true legend of British film and TV.

George Cole is to Athur Daley what Peter Falk is to Colombo they put their own stamp on it so much so. That no one else could ever replace them.

RIP george... you filled our lives with joy - usually in hour long bursts throughout the 80's - but this little chat will illuminate ALL your triumphs throughout an illustrious career. thepipeandslippersman recommends this for anyone who wants to see beyond 'arfur' and also catch a glimpse of a terrifically modest man with significant talent and alot of heart. please also raise a glass for alastair sim tonight, folks... i'm sure he and george will be!
