Let’s make some Magical Doodles by Embracing Imperfections! Using a pen and Making marks develop into patterns and is the whole purpose of doodling. Mindful doodling is allowing your mind to make connections and go with the flow.
Remember to Be Kind to Yourself and give your doodles the same love and admiration that you would give to your best friend’s doodles.
Using a pencil to give us a starting point and then going in with the black ink and letting the design grow organically. Knowing full well that the lines may be wobbly, the spacing may be off and your design might fall off the edge of the paper is all part of this magical process!
Practicing putting in light(white pencil) Dark (black ink) and 2 mid tones( graphite pencil and the brown color of the paper) all comes together to build a 3-d looking doodle that has the flavor of leather tooling or patterned silver jewelry. It is always a surprise what will happen when you let the doodle happen naturally!
