NEVER too late to the party! I just bought two new empty palettes - one for my Meeden watercolor tubes. One for some of my Meeden Gouache! But mine don’t have those water receptacles 😢 I do have the silicone collapsible water cups tho. This Mission paints look beautiful! I have not even used my Himi Gouache yet - shame on ME!! And that is wasteful! Ok I need to know what your favorite paints are. Pretty sure I know the answer but let’s hear you confirm it!? I have a feeling you’re on a fun camping trip so I can’t wait to see what you paint!! ❤ Wonder why they shrank and cracked like that? Humidity or super dry air? As you say, it won’t affect their use because you rewet them. But that was odd. Very vibrant on your swatch card!

I have these. I'm wondering if you let the first layer fully dry and then go over them if they will blend some?
@DeliberatelyCreative2 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching and your question! Yes, even free they are dry the still will blend a bit but not as much- or it may be the batch I got didn’t have as much of the acrylic binder in them.

These are so chirpy in colour and could never be considered cheap only designer! Those paints are so yummy and vibrant and really brings them to life. But I do have a complaint from the Royal Society for the protection of birds for you, they think it was so rotten to make the poor bird on the top left of the page do the splits ! Being a chubby little thing too must be putting a bit of stress on those tiny legs! lol Seriously they are gorgeous and dazzling to watch being created and in their final state of decadent radiance, you can hear them happily singing away, we’ll all but one who’s going ooooooo that hurts someone help me get my feet back together again! Medic, medic, medic! lol As ever another work of magic and excellence, I love your videos so much and each is a treat and a pleasure to watch. I can’t wait to find out what comes next in your art adventures xxx Ps I hope you and his lordship have a wonderful summer and treat yourselves to an ice cream or 22 xxx

I have heard about these for years and just bought a small set to try them out. Q: If your color comes out too dark, can you lift some of it out while it’s still wet? Thank you for the excellent video!
@DeliberatelyCreative27 күн бұрын
Yes, while it’s wet you can lift and scrub out much of the color. But you can never get it to compliment go back to the paper /fabric color- it will always stain

We all know I believe completely in serendipity ❤ The Universe was definitely speaking to you! I want those color cubes so badly. LOL. I’m putting g them back on my birthday and Christmas wish list!! This is absolutely lovely Steph! ❤ I also love that you kept that green in the palette - those Viburnum colors are super pigmented and pretty! Such a great lesson in VALUES and the depths/highlights within a composition while using a limited palette of colors as well. That halo effect that you created so effortlessly is just amazing. ❤ Bravo my friend!!

I really enjoyed watching you paint your portrait. I have purchased the Devinci eye app. How do you seal a watercolor without ruining the watercolor?
@DeliberatelyCreativeАй бұрын
To seal a watercolor you can use the Dorland’s Museum Wax. amzn.to/3X4bQ08 (affiliate link) just follow the instructions on the jar. It is supposed to seal and make the surface more water resistant.

Steph, when you actually are holding those side-by-side, it’s not too short. Maybe just a tad wide, but I think it turned out beautifully for a drawing exercise! The watercolors and highlights are fantastic!!! And the details you rendered were really realistic!
