When two animals that want the “alpha” title are fighting, they aren’t bothered by anything else I understand why they didn’t come check out Godzilla and Kong. They most likely sensed it, but didn’t want involved in fear of being destroyed They all bowed to Godzilla in KOTM and acknowledged him as the true Alpha, so there’s no reason to interfere.

Methuselah is probably old enough to remember the war between gojiras and kongs. He was definitely in mountain mode for this whole movie.

Imagine if the titans from the skull island teamed up with kong to go against godzilla and the titans that followed godzilla.

In the novelization, Godzilla made them go back to sleep because he didn't want them to go back into Ghidorah's control. He sensed him, so it makes sense to keep the others out

In the comic, Godzilla: Dominion, it has shown that Godzilla called the other Titans to remain dormant as he heard Ghidorah's signal.

Barb is actually not Godzilla's enemy. She understood the hierarchy and bowed to him so she was allowed to live.

I think Ghidorah was trying to get to the Hollow Earth all this time, but the outer layer and Godzilla were in the way at his conquest for power.

You're right that Mothra was probably still in her egg waiting to hatch post KOTM As for the other titans, a few of them do get mentioned in the opening credits, listed as "defeated" by Godzilla. Now bear in mind, that *doesn't mean he killed them.* He let Kong live after the Hong Kong battle. So long as the other titan submits, Godzilla lets them go. We see it in the prequel book "Dominion" with Scylla, Amhuluk and Titamat

I really hope to see all of the Titans from Godzilla: King of the Monsters in Godzilla Dominion, because it is about Godzilla encountering new Titans, and old Titans.

No post credits scene in GvK made me really sad and thinking if we're even going to get another movie. Seeing basically no other titans was also a bummer. I think it's caused by the change of director and his other 'vision' different from Dougherty which is why we didn't a get some sort of a continuation of the titans related story.

That was my main question as well. I was like, "Where the hell is Rodan? He backed up Ghidorah but leaves Godzilla to handle his own business?"

spoiler alert during the intro in gvk there was some tournament thing that shows godzilla and kong defeating other titans for some reason, the titans who was defeated by both of them was labelled defeated, which make me into thinking that they either died or just lost

I think Godzilla had already kept them in Checked as Stated by the end of KOTM 2019. Like the newspaper article said during the end credits that The Titans are presumed to have gone back to their hiding spots or somewhere else and Godzilla was keeping them in Check for awhile.

I liked seeing the 4 new titans: Alpha Skullcrawler, Nozuki/Warbat, Camazotz and MechaGodzilla, really liked seeing them, also where are you finding those creature profile bits in the episode

In GvK, IIRC, there is a screen that shows some of the titans that were previously destroyed such as Monster Zero, Muto, and Skullcrawler Cranium Reptant. Also, in this list is Rhodan, however we do not know what happened to Rhodan between KOTM and GvK.

We saw none of them... That was disappointing. It'd be awesome if Destroyah comes and they all have to band together.

It would have been nice to see short scenes in the beginning of the movie to establish multiple monarch groups monitoring each of the kaiju in there own habitat, or as they hibernate.

Y'know what will be cool? Godzilla waking up the other titans to fight Mecha-G. That'd be awesome and badass and honestly I just wanna see the cool other abilities of the other titans. And its ironic because King ghidorah ( Which is now Mecha-G's brain ) Gets pumelled by the titans he called last movie.

In the opening credits, it states that the female MUTO, the Skull Devil, and Ghidorah were all "defeated". Later in the opening credits, it labels ALL the titans "defeated". This probably suggests that they were all killed, most likely by Godzilla on his search for apex facilities.

Saw it twice today...thought they did a good job with the movie, some people complained about how the human characters didn't have enough of a story behind them but that's not what this movie is about, its about monsters fighting and the humans moving along the plot of the monsters, I likes that it's a kaiju movie for kaiju fans....and also Godzilla ultimately won so guess that settles that huh, sorry Kong...more training you need (Yoda voice)

At the end of KotM the news said some Titans were converging on Skull Island but then the island became uninhabitable only around 1 year before the event in GvK. So I don't know what was that all about. GvK novelization stated clearly that after KotM Godzilla was traveling around beating up Titans who weren't fully submitted like Scylla, helping Behemoth out against another titan, helping a titan from human's capture. Then Godzilla ordered them to go into hibernation hence the 3 years absent. I highly recommend the GvK novelization for anyone who is interested in the world/lore. It paints a much better better than the movie, even for human character like Ren Serizawa.

In Godzilla vs kong it’s shown godzilla has defeated some extra enemies / old allies. One of them being methuselah. It doesn’t specify if methuselah is dead or not though. Either way the info is there in the movie as to where at least some of them may be. (I.e. either crawled back to their homes, or died fighting.) So he was in the movie. I’d say more names but I really can’t make out the pictures enough to see them all and say who’s in what ones.

I think Mothra should get at least one stand-alone, Rodan as well. A Monster Zero prequel could also be good. I think people will drop the Monsterverse if they focus on the big guy too much.

In the opening title sequence of Godzilla vs Kong movie, almost all the titans mentioned in this video were showed to be "defeated" by Godzilla while the Skullcrawlers were showed to be "defeated" by Kong, so essentially most of the titans here were annihilated by Godzilla and not just hibernating

The director did say he filmed 5 hours of footage for this movie but was adamant on maintaining that it stay under 2 hours run time. Thats probably him adhering to WB's rules who had about a 20% share in the movie despite it being made by Legendary. Remember how WB was adamant about keeping 2017's Justice League at just under 2 hours as well.

Scylla was killed in the comic book “Godzilla Aftermath, the events after KOTM.” I believe it was something like that. Godzilla killed her because she wanted dominance over the Titans, so she tried killing Goji, but failed miserably.

The comic Godzilla dominion specifically addresses that upon sensing gidorah being alive(through apex) Godzilla commands all the other Titans to go back into hibernation until it’s destroyed so if there are more films they will likely be active again, either on the surface or hollow earth

It would have been awesome to see Behemoth meet Kong in hollow earth at the end of the movie. Kong gets nervous but Behemoth just gives him a nod and keeps moving. Showing that the Titans were aware of the fight and know Kongs not to be messed with.

My theory for the movie was that, if u noticed, Kong doesn't have "King" in his name and since Godzilla was the king of the monsters. If Kong defeated Godzilla, all the titans bow to Kong including Godzilla bowing down with respect and giving kong the name "King Kong"

I never paused it . But at the beginning of Godzilla v Kong there are pictures on the monitors that show Titans labeled , defeated or dead if I remember right . So that could answer where some went

I hope they do another King Kong movie because I just finally figured out who can really be the real t-rex who got his jaw broken. I wish we can use gorosaurus as the main antagonist for the Future King Kong sequels and this time he'll be enhanced and digitally reimagined to a t-rex with fins.

Alright here is what happened from what we know from dominion Behethom: was fighting amhuluk and after amhuluk surrendered to Godzilla. Behethom went to rest somewhere Methuselah: hibernating Scylla: fought Godzilla. After being beaten she swam away to fix the problem with the ice and river Queen muto: went in hibernation or Godzilla told her to just stay away for now as she is a muto and Godzilla doesn’t trust her Mothra: her spirit was helping Godzilla all the way to Godzilla vs kong while her egg was hatching Rodan: hibernating

Gotta get the godzilla dominion comic it's a official prequel to Godzilla vs Kong film, explains what is going on with the titans within the 5 years after the events of kotm there is also a kong comic coming out call kingdom kong, that explains what happen to skull island that made it uninhabitable for kong and it takes place three years before Godzilla vs kong film.

I was confused because the opening said they were defeated, not “they submitted” but rather, defeated, so either Godzilla killed them all for that was just a weird way to say they submitted

Considering Godzilla is the King the rest will not attempt to come to the King unless they wish to challenge him for dominance. Kong was the only one who didn't acknowledge Godzilla dominance. At least at the end of KotM you watched all the Titans bow down to Godzilla. Godzilla made no alpha call in Godzilla vs Kong since he didn't have to tell them that he's the strongest. Kong was the only one who didn't get the memo and even with the axe of his ancestors got taken down. It's interesting that Godzilla doesn't go for the kill unless he feels threatened, like he did with Ghidorah. Although that sea battle Kong could have easily ended up dead if not for humans helping him out. I think Godzilla took that into account before sparing him, it's not like he didn't know where Skull Island was, it was literally connected to the passages to hollow Earth. That was a different Muto in KotM as we saw in Godzilla 2014 he killed both of them. They don't explain where this one was or came from but Godzilla didn't outright murder it on sight. Perhaps population control is why he didn't, they all help replenish the Earth in their own ways. In that room in the temple circling the seat is the marking that looks exactly like Godzilla species and it circles the seat of whoever sits upon it. Not sure what that is supposed to mean, but to me it looks like the center is protected by the power Godzilla possesses or he was a barrier to keep whatever is on the surface out. His power it's identical to the power found in the temple and he immediately destroyed it after it activated, there can only be one Godzilla at a time as they are alphas. That's just my take on it. Also the monsters do have a symbiotic relationship with one another. I'm just curious as to who the original people were that constructed the structures. On the original surface that huge temple Godzilla called home was made for huge Titans like himself to go into, just as the temple in hollow Earth looked like it was constructed for a purpose even with the carvings in it. Was Kong species rulers within and Godzilla the ruler on the surface or guard? His old home looked like a big ass dog house. Will these movie guys go back and tell the origins of the monsters and the Earth. All that lore, especially how and where Ghidorah came from, are there more civilizations like old ancient monster Earth? Feels like there is more as Ghidorah isn't from the planet and is an invader, he obviously fought with Godzilla before and that Godzilla more than likely was died after leaving an egg in the dog house and returning to the surface to die, where the Mutoh used the corpse as nourishment but it wasn't enough and they went into prolonged hibernation. The current Godzilla was fully grown by the time humans became aware and attempted to destroy it. So I'm guessing it took thousands of years to grow that large and nuclear testing was powerful enough to wake the young Godzilla up. They did say the planet had far more radiation present and I'm guessing where most of that went, to nourish a growing Godzilla and other monsters who were closer to the surface. A lot of the monsters went under ground or stayed near massive energy sources. Anyway enough of my assumptions about their lore. I just want more movies and if they add humans, please make sensible plots and connect them without it looking like useless fodder. KotM plot was nowhere near as terrible as Godzilla vs Kong. Also, team Godzilla for the win baby. If it wasn't for humans saving Kong at sea, he'd be dead and Mecha-Godzilla would have not had an energy source. Humans stay causing all the problems bro!
