Don't let yourself be fooled. Plenty of people fake rescue videos for likes and clout. They will hurt the animals so they can record themselves "saving" the animal.

Actually, there are many more than you realize! Just thank God for all of them, whether it be human or animal rescue. We are blessed with these amazing people!

Most people are good in this wordl but general media mostly talk about the bad ones

There are many, many good people out there. If most of the people were bad, the world would be a much worse place. Good people stop and help people and animals. They run food shelves, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and other helping organizations. They check on their elderly neighbors and help them with tasks that require more strength than they have. They work for nonprofit organizations. They volunteer for and donate to charitable organizations and serve on boards of directors. They feel empathy for people who struggle. They support people who are different from them and who face things like bigotry, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and oppression for their religious beliefs or lack of them, and they speak out against this mistreatment of people. They smile at people they meet on the sidewalk and have a good word for people in the grocery-store line. They create art that brings beauty to the world. They take part in local events that bring people together. They raise funds for events and activities and organizations that do good works. They help spay feral cats. They help animal rescues. They take part in community activities to increase engagement in the community. And lots of et ceteras. They don't do all of those things. If they did, they would be exhausted all the time! But many, many good people are out there helping the world be a better place, even if only in their corner of it.

Thank you! Your response made me cry because you are so right! The rescuers are definitely heroes, but when the animal is safe - the applause and yells of the happy people are living on in my mind - I cry like a baby! You are lovely.
