​@MisaelJefte he throws 2 eyes from different positions facing different directions, from that info you can do basic math calculation to do the triangulation of the location even without any software, even by hand you could do it pretty fast in a couple seconds.

@@MisaelJefte if you just do f3 and calculate the exact same thing on a calculator theres no difference. That's why its allowed. He used f3+c which copied his location in /execute format. The bot will detect that and use the angle to find the stronghold regardless

Yeah it is he used ninja brain wich is a calculator that uses f3+c to do trig (legal).

You lower your render distance in the fortress to increase the likelihood of blaze spawns, mobs need to spawn somewhere and they cant spawn outside of render distance. The sensitivity being lowered is just for seeing the angle the eye of ender is pointing to, you have to aim at a specific pixel.

Tbh perching patterns don’t matter in casual play at all, you just shoot the end crystals down and just fire arrows at it and hit it when it seemingly randomly comes down

You want to see speedrun specific videos from top speedrunners (VODs, PBs, tutorial videos). Also I suggest watching rekrap1. He's himself new to speedrunning but is already pretty good and that's why his tutorial videos are super good for beginners.

Generation is arguably worst, piglin trades are objectively worst, f3+f is disabled, piglin brutes and gamma 5 which is possible in 1.16 by editing options.txt and allowed for speed runs is impossible without modding the game code

Also no magma ravines so you can’t enter the nether like that (typical route now)

@@BluePi3142 Like I said, especially in 1.20 and other newer versions, even on hard difficulty it's much faster to find iron and smelt it than to leave it up to RNG and sit there for 4 minutes waiting for the portal to light up, in the case of this run he got demolished by luck in that first cave and that ended up wasting like 50 seconds. Besides there was nothing that could take 4 minutes to do to really overlap things considering that the golem kill and gathering tools and food only takes 40 seconds tops.

It's his own dodgy boomerang method but the only working one I'm pretty sure. Entities don't despawn when you lower render distance in 1.20, but they still show up on the piray if up raise it up from the lowest number when you spawn in. So If you enter the nether with lowest render distance you have only one shot to locate the fortress with that L-shape method, and u slowly raise up render till u find it. But you need to get lucky that the mob spawner spikes during L-shape movement otherwise it's not accurate. This is how I understood it from watching him do it and trying it a couple times myself, but I could be wrong on some details. Hope this helps.

It takes way too long in 1.20 especially, it's not a viable strat for speedrunning as it can take up to 4-5 minutes sometimes.
